    Nantes, Republique du Tient

Welcome to the glorious capitol. With it's new age skyscrapers and the Parisian buildings that have sat there for over 200 years, the city is a mesh of different building styles over the past 400 years. In the picture below we see everything from the Capitol Park at the bottom, to Gard Du Nord Park at the top. With Nantes central district, its buildings from the 60's, the Nantes Carré Résidentiel Un which was built in 2005, and the Nantes Louis Station Centrale built in 1904. The Grand Canal, which splits the picture in half, is a great accomplishment in itself, taking TIENT about 4 years to perfect it snakes into the city before dividing into 3 smaller canals, which have since been lined with the cities elite shops, cafés and apartments.

Wonderful mosaic! Not so sure about the big building though... A bit of a weard place for it, don't you think?

But all the rest looks 100% HOT! 2.gif

Not bad, the modern high rises blend very well with the older buildings! Love the station! 4.gif

Just one problem, you havn't kept traffic in the mix like in your other city, I'd like to see some more cars speeding around the city. Otherwise it looks very cool. Though I myself am not sure of the HK building.

I like the HK building it looks awkward. But correctly awkward. I love the color against the other other buildings.

Impressive mosaic. And a night shot on top of that. It has a very nice European feel.

Also I would love to ask . where did you get those wide sandstone paths from with the light colored grass sounding them. Were they lotted or not?

Look forward to more next weekend. I love your mosaics more and more every time you show them. Somehow you manage to show your city realistically with the same buildings so many times without being repeatative (excuse the spelling). Amazing!
