Nice start! Can't wait until you press the "play" button 9.gif

Hopefully either it'll be a peaceful town in isolation or a bustling city with towering buildings trying to grow taller than the mountains 3.gif

Btw, I was wondering how you were going to connect these two cities together? Only that small farm seems to be the link between the two.

jacqulina - yes, i know you do, but i don't have your talent for terrafoming 4.gif

    penguin007 - Thanks again will

xenvious - Thanks, play button in the update after this one, and there is a narrow strip of land that connects the 2 regions together further along, but not directly to Rudston. It will connect to the other side of the main river to Rudston

Za - Thanks man, so far its going ok, but it takes a lot longer to do 4.gif

Smarty218 - Thanks, ill develop it after this update (once i have the power for the area)

2nerdy4u - Thanks again nerdy, i like to squeeze as much as is possible in!

dralin321 - You didn't think it was going to be successful?!

suplado! - Thanks again suplado, we'll have to see if the houses that develop will also fit nicely into the area

    Update

The village of Grainger is born:

    rockhaven8.jpg

Home to it's most impressive building, the Maria Church:

    rockhaven9.jpg

Here it is from the reverse angle:

    rockhaven10.jpg

And here is all i have done so far in Rockhaven:

    rockhaven11.jpg

Like i say, i will hit the play button once i have a power source for the area, should be in the next update when i start the suburbs of the main town

    Looks awesome so far! 9.gif

Oh. Yeah I see that link between on the narrow strip but what I really meant was how you're going to connect the main island to the other city: Ferries?

jacqulina - I maybe could but i don't have the patience for it i don't think! Thanks for the compliments again

Godzillaman - Thanks, you can see for yourself by scrolling down the page 9.gif

penguin007 - Hehe, the people living there are the brave ones!

Smarty218 - Thanks again, and thanks for adding me to your signature, that makes me proud 4.gif

2nerdy4u - Thanks again, would be wonderful to live there, agreed.

    Update

It's a long one today as I finally took the plunge and hit the play button

Here it is before that press, also showing the closest suburbs of Rockhaven:

    Rockhaven12.jpg

I will go around each area, the tiny nameless village far out, Grainger and then Rockhaven.

Nameless Village (Now named Poolton due to the amount of pools people have!)

    Here it is developed:

    rockhaven13.jpg

Like i said just above, it is now called Poolton, as a whole bunch of people arnt satisfied by the masses of water 6m away so build their own pools!

    rockhaven14.jpg

    Grainger

I expanded this village a bit after you guys last saw it, i added another strip of houses further up the side of the hill. That strip is at the bottom of this developed pic:

    rockhaven15.jpg

I really like how that area developed, lots of medium wealth people living there

    Rockhaven

Ah, the place where the next few days are going to be spent. I had a look at the land, and it's gonna take a while to plan out the expansion. I may starve some areas of the town from water as i want a lot of low wealth people to live here. i am running out of R$$ jobs and i also need more farmers!

    Here it is developed:

    rockhaven16.jpg

This area of the town is home to Rockhaven Community College:

    rockhaven17.jpg

As well as Rockhaven Wind Farm (hardly a farm, only 5 wind turbines there!)

The villages look fantastic and as always your roundabouts and diagonal streets compliment the area very nicely! And it was my pleasure to put Yusonia on my signature.

Wow friend. I have missed many many updates. Please forgive LOL. I love your CJ, this mountain-like town is a wonderful concept. Your details are getting better and better as you move along. I like it. Way to go. 4.gif

jacqulina - Thanks a lot once again jacky!

Smarty218 - Thanks a lot, try them out in your cities (diagonal streets), they always bring great variety to an area.

KingTitan - You are forgiven 4.gif Thanks a lot, i was wondering if i was actually improving or not, great to have some confirmation!

    dralin321 - Thanks again dralin!

    Update

I know, I know, it's so soon after the last one, but i was really exited about getting off those mountains and getting some flat land zoned again!

I have moved both towards and away from where the centre of Rockhaven will be:

    rockhaven19.jpg

You may notice the out of town shopping centre in the distance, i wanted one of those in Rudston, but the demand wasn't high enough at the time, so i put one in here before i changed my mind:

    rockhaven21.jpg

Here is the whole area zoned:

    rockhaven20.jpg

Here is some of the suburbs as they get slightly more denser towards the future town centre:

    rockhaven22.jpg

The whole area is starting to get some real character now!:
