Everyone has dreams, often theyre are boring and we dont care about them or we forget. But sometimes you have a crazy dream that you remember and you just have to tell someone about it. If you do, entertain us.9.gif

Keep it clean.

I had a dream in college that my friend was trying to take over the world with chocolate milk, a special limited edition Star Wars cup from Burger King and lots and lots of colored yarn. I don't know he was supposed to accomplish this goal with those particular materials, but I foiled his plan. Then he walked in on me and beat the stuffing out of me.

Then I woke up.

I don't have normal dreams. 3.gif

Funny we should have a thread like this pop up today, only hours after I has a dream that could easily rival zel's. 3.gif

I'm in an all you can eat restaurant kind of like Ryan's or Fire Mountain Grill (for anyone who's heard of the places) when this random argument starts to become a heated war of words. At some point, a local football team becomes a part of the dream, something in the fight shifts them on to the end of the world, all the while this middle-aged couple is intently trying to shove a table full of spaghetti into a take out container that never seems to get full. 47.gif

Crazy enough for you? 18.gif

I actually had a simtropolis dream.  Back around the time of my shoulder surgery, I had a dream that I was in the pre-op area of the hospital.  On the next gurney over, there was Buggi, who was getting ready to have his 13th surgery so he wouldn't look like his avatar anymore.

He was very depressed over the whole process.  I tried to tell him that things were working; that he didn't look much like his avatar anymore.  He didn't believe me, probably because I had recognized him by sight.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

You have an excellent point, Zel  3.gif

Just goes to show what kind of dreams heavy painkillers can inspire.  47.gif

We do have a thread for dreams. Its called "Don't let the bed bugs bite" or something to that effect. I have posted several of my weird dreams. My friends love it when I wake up in the morning and I say "I had the weirdest dream" cause they know its true. Not many people can incorporate a tornado, a satellite guided flying elevator (whose purpose is still to go straight up and down just without a shaft) aliens, and Minneapolis-New York with a futuristic motif. Or Bill Clinton, Disney, Survivor and a dragon....4.gif

I dreamt about being attacked by a Pig a few nights ago...

One of my most vivid dreams is from when I was 6... I was riding a Harley around the wall of my bedroom about to be lynched by Loony Tunes charcters coz I'd ran over Daffy Duck, it was pretty upsetting, lol

I had a VERY strange dream some years ago. I was 10-11 years old, when i dreamt it.

(My english isn't perfect, so, somewhere the text is strange...)

The dream started in a jungle. This jungle totally looked like the back garden of the family's holiday house. So, it looked chaotic. (Oh, and the wire fence from the garden was also there.) In the middle of the jungle, there was a life-sized LEGO petrol station, that totally looked like the one that was given to me at christmas, in that year. In my dream, that was the family's petrol station, full of african employees. (It's logical, jungle>africans. Where's a dumb smiley???) I was sitting next to the building, when two employees were arguing. I saw a dark shadow in the jungel, and suddenly, a big and scary ape (orangutan? gorilla? I don't know, but possibly, it was inspired by king-kong...) appeared. Everyone ran away. I wanted to hide in the restroom, and what did i find there? Our bathroom, with some repairmen, who sent me out. I went to the other toliet, but the door led me to the place behind the shop's counter. And... The dream ended there.

Was it dumb enough? Or it wasn't?

If you need more dumb dreams... Just ask me! 9.gif

I have two dreams I'd like to share. Here's the first:

A few years ago, I had a dream that in front of my house there was this block party. Only the people I didn't like showed up. So, there's this bounce house, and it's really windy. I get in, and this huge burst of steam from the water main pushes the bounce house up to like, twenty thousand feet. I crawl to the top, and everything's a little speck on the ground. Then, this old cropduster with a goat in it goes by. W-T-F?

Just last year, I had this dream where I was in San Francisco. But, the Bay Bridge was going over downtown and like doing loops and stuff. The sky was all five year old crayon style. So, then this cable car with a bunch of carrot sticks on it crashes into this wall. I go through the wall, and I'm in this apartment with my mom and we're moving stuff in. It looks like its from the 1880's and stuff. I look out the window, and I still see the bridge. I go for a walk, and it all seems very European. It looks more like the French Riviera than the Marina District. I go to the waterfront, and all these weird people are standing on this tiny little island by one of the Golden Gate Bridge towers. The water is churning really fast, and people are jumping in. I'm screaming like heck here, and then I get pushed in. It's an underwater Hooters with mermaids taking orders. I swim out of the place. Then, the same cropduster goat slashes my head off with the propellers. Again, W-T-F?

    ... thats depressing...

Anybody ever dreamt that they knew they were dreaming? I managed to escape one one my dreams by jumping through a red piece of paper held up by one of my old Headmasters. I also dreamt that Santa was a Vampire Zombie from hell...

So I'm walking through a dead forest of sharp mesquite trees, following a talking mutant hog that sounds like archie bunker...the hog stops in a clearing, turns around, then begins to eat a gigantic plate of hot wings, getting them all over it's disgusting grotesque face, nasty orange drool dripping down everywhere..

After that I wake up in a sweat, and run to the bathroom and puke my guts out.

Lesson: avoid too many hot wings...

Do you guys ever have odd dreams when you get sick?

Last night, I had a dream that was so real. I was at the camp I go to, and it was remodelled to slightly resemble my Freshmen quad. I know no one there, and then all of a sudden, all of these great friends start appearing, including a certain someone. At camp, you're allowed to bring one electronic thing with you. I brought my laptop and some Architecture Digest magazines. I tried to log on to ST, and then one of my old teachers walked by and said, "Wait, you're TopCliff?! Who'd have thought that! I'm really Dirk. I just changed my identity online." I ignore that, and flip open a magazine. The pages are made out of prosciutto. I can't read them. Next thing I know, I'm falling down the hill yelling goodbye to my friends like Later Flyn! and Later Dahlquist! Weird, but it all seemed so real.

You are referring to what is called Lucid Dreaming.  Some people are very good at recognizing a dream.  I have only had a handful of them, but my wife has them all the time.  My experience is that it can make your dreams much more enjoyable.  You are still dreaming, and asleep, but you can... change things.  Wonderful!

    Barbarossaquote>

Any time I realize I'm actually dreaming the whole thing falls apart.  I've never been able to make things happen (or not happen) in my dreams, though I often realize that I'm dreaming.  If I try really hard to cause things to happen in my dreams I just wake up.

I once thought I was having an out of body experience.  I was in the hospital, my last memory being getting prepped for an appendectomy.  Next thing I knew, I was rising out of my body, looking down at myself lying in a hospital bed with machines attached.  My mother was standing next to the bed and some other family members were seated in cheap plastic chairs aligned along the walls.  There were getwell balloons and flowers and such scattered around the room.  No one was saying anything.  I was frightened because an out of body experience is supposed to mean you're dying.  Then my mom opened her mouth to speak and her tongue rolled out like a red carpet and spread across the room.  Movement from the corner of my eye turned out to be a small pack of dobermans walking up the window.  At this point I realized I was dreaming, heh.
