the weirdest thing.. and it happens to me all the time. I get this sudden urge to play a game that I havent in years, for no particular reason. Right now I have the urge to play Runescape . Too bad I'm not a member anymore. So what games have you guys drug out of the closet because you got a sudden urge to play?

I'm new at BATing, so itll probably be awhile before you see any results from me, but I already have a few concepts in my head. Now for the SimMars Military bases, I thought that the Starfox Arwing and Landmaster Tank would fit perfectly, with a few color changes The Arwing Landmaster Tank This gives me some ideas for an airport replacement: (picture does not seem to work now...apologies) I'm a sci-fi nut, so I've got all kinds of building designs going on in my head that will fit the Utilitarian design. What I noticed most in SimMars was the lack of variety in industrial and commercial lots, so I'll be focusing on those for the most part. Again, I'm new at BATing so it might be awhile before I actually get anything done

TagDaze is right, all kinds of companies do the same thing. One of the worst I can think of is Nintendo with its infinity of mario parties. They also managed to run sonic the hedgehog into the ground, after they got the franchise from sega. Sonic Adventure 2 was the last good game they came up with, when Sonic Heroes came out... I don't even want to go there From what I understand, people usually do not like sequels. They expect them to be the same thing as the original, then if its different its like, dude they ruined it! And if its the same, they complain about the lack of new content. I think Blizzard has the right idea with Wow. They have the original, a tried and true product, and they add on to it so there is always new things to do. Of course thats easy to implement into a MMORPG... but still

So we can just start working on something, say the water filtration plant, show our progress in the workshop forum, and upload it when were done. Am i correct or is there a different procedure, I understood this as a community project, but do we need to sign up and be accepted before we can contribute?
