3ds max. Gmax is the redundant free version of the most popular professional program.

Wipes the floor with SCS visually already... and with Monte Cristo's close work with the Simtropolis community, who can guess how fantastic the gameplay will be 44.gif

Looks great. Societes isn't a patch on this.

yeah, i agree with panther, paris doesn't really have large parisian buildings look those, it looks more buenos aires to me. either way, it looks great, but it makes me wonder if it will be possible to make W2W neighborhoods.

I keep getting more and more impressed...and the buildings are low-poly, too! SCS looks to have similar poly-count and those buildings can't even compare...it helps to use photo textures, I guess 19.gif.

The edf-tower looks really great. If all the graphics are going to be on this level, then I'm going to buy this game.

Me like the addition of realistic lighting. Too many times I see a game with alot of scope and epicness, with crappy shadowing effects.

We need more updates like yesterday! Hee. I'd love to see another city shot, but perhaps more of a regional shot or one that isn't as zoomed in.

A new image has been put up on the sight. My computer has been running far too slow to upload it here just now.

It's a great image BUT it is a game still in progress. The textures will change drastically for when it will get released, and it was taken in a dark light/angle so that not a lot of the details were exposed. However the smaller buildings look SUPERB. The two tall ones are wither intoo much darkness or look a little too flat. Though the image looks very good for a game that isn't expected to be out in a years time! Thanks for the image Phillipe.

    That very one yes.

I personally think they just placed all the buildings randomly to show us how far they have come.

They have shown quite a few pictures of buildings but they haven' showed many pics of whats happening on the ground, I'd also like to see some pics of transport systems in progress but still I love that pic,
