Yes Coullan is derived from ancient Coullan transscripts and Thai, Korean, and Chinese.

    great looking el-rail terminal..its huge! 4.gif

i like the way the elevated rail cuts through the middle of city blocks too, it gives me a sense of the busyness of the area

    keep it up man 9.gif

I love the amusement park! But, try using more pedestrian lots i mean the ones with people on them it looks kind of scary and eerie with no people 3.gif I like the city scenes, but jack up the # of cars/ sims number makes everything look more alive 4.gif Keep up the good work!

osaka101: Thanks! To make an Asian city, just search "Hong Kong" or "Asia" on the STEX, and I'm sure you'll find some cool stuff!

AlexandrosK: Ha, thanks! I don't spend THAT much time on the PC, but I just work really hard when I do...

    update_13.jpg

Welcome to Update 13! Today we will look at Nawako. I've been doing a lot of work recently to make Nawako even better, so let's take a look at Huahak, a major city ward.

    Huahak

Huahak is located just south of Ryukyunaro district, and east of the Nashiri district (home to the Imperial Palace). It is home to a bustling community and a beautiful seawall bordering Nawako Bay. Let's take a look:

    Huahak-30Jul021206033510.jpg

The beach bordered by the seawall is non-public, due to it being quite close to major industrial seaports in the Ryukyunaro district.

    Huahak-30Jul021206033468.jpg

The Honabei-Haho expressway (M17), races through Nawako, zipping under and over major streets in an attempt to make its way through the bustling capital.

    Huahak-30Jul021206033522.jpg

Due to threats made by a fellow nation, the navy patrols Nawako to keep it safe. Above, you can see a Suaweng class destroyer.

    Huahak-30Jul021206033551.jpg

Huahak Station, home to Coulla Railways' Mahometo line.

    Huahak-30Jul021206033747.jpg

Tung Nu Temple, influenced by Thai architecture. The Zaists of the neighborhood attend the temple once per week.

    Huahak-30Jul021206033768.jpg

Because tennis is one of the most popular sports in Coulla, this tennis complex was built to increase Huahak's living standards.

That's pretty awesome! Again with the awesome button2.gif Nice touch also, having the M-B Korea right across the street from the Ishimaru. Coulla must be like an East Asian melting pot!

Thanks for the train station, by the way.

Benedict: The mosaic was hard to make it so stunning, lols. 3.gif Thanks!

yoshikoroyimara: Thanks! I tried to make the writing look like a mix of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. Coca Cola!

Schumanator: Thanks! I try to get each and every detail (I'm a bit of a perfectionist, lols!). Thanks again!

osaka101: You're right on. It is a mix of those three indeed. Thanks!

NMUSpidey: East Asian melting pot indeed. Thanks!

    14_3.jpg

So before heading over to Moedo, the capital of the Kimanoyo Islands, I'll give you guys a couple of pictures of the small town of Kihana on Shibaha Island, an island with a square mileage of no more than 12.

    14_1.jpg

Kihana, population 1753. Can you see the tranditional Coullan houses?

    14_2.jpg

The only high-rise in Kihana dates back to when the French came to the Kimanoyo Islands. I'll explain more about that in Update 15.

    End of Update 14

Hope you enjoyed it! Next update, I'll show you guys Moedo, the capital of the Kimanoyo Islands. Please enjoy!

Oh yeah, and guys be sure to check out COULLA WIKI!

That town is fantastic, from what i've seen, its a very good representation of a poorer tropical area in asia. baseball field is also a nice touch, so you guys can produce some more dice-k's and okijima's for the red sox 3.gif
