Song title game

This game is relatively easy, you take one word from the tile of a song (not the Artist) and then tell us another song with that word in it...

For example, i'll start with-

Empty City - Thunder

Somebody else could take either the Empty or the City from the song title and say-

Pink Floyd - Empty Spaces -

The next person could say-

Dixie Chicks - Wide open Spaces

Next-

12 Stones - Open your eyes

and so on...

This does or doesn't have to reflect your music taste, its just abit of fun...

I'll start with an easy long one -

The Cocaine makes me feel like i'm on this song - System of a Down

[EDIT]

To keep things in order and not to get people confused with Song Title and Artist, please structure your posts like-

Artist - Song Title

Thus, preventing any 'twitching' from Duke87... and confusion for everyone else3.gif

Man With An Open Heart, King Crimson

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

With that in mind; Greg Lake,' I Don't Know Why I Still Love You'

Trying to help others by using long song titles...

Hey, I have OCD. I see things getting done incorrectly and it drives me up the wall. It's the "obsessive" part. You know, "this is how it's supposed to be done it can't be done any differently no exceptions now do it that way or else". That's the kind of attitude I end up getting with these things. Seriously. When I get a compulsion about something like this, if I see someone going against it it makes me want to rip their head off.

Of course, I don't actually ever incur physical harm on people, but I do go rant crazy to the point where I absolutely will not shut up until the "offender" concedes defeat.

...you know, that strait jacket might not be a bad idea.3.gif

anyway:

M2M- Don't Say You Love Me

(can't think of another song with the word "suffer" in the title, at least uninflected. Schoolhouse Rock- Sufferin' 'til Suffrage comes to mind, but that's not a direct connection, so I don't think it counts. Or, if it does, it shouldn't.)

    BeeGees - Staying Alive

(sorry for bringing back any disco memories)

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

    Metallica- ....And Justice for All

Sorry for making a connection with "and", but I can't think of any for "kickin'" and the only one I can think of for "Alive" is "Disturbed-I'm Alive" and I'd rather not throw something that short out there if I can avoid it.

Also, SkiGeek, it's "Stayin' Alive", not "Staying". Fortunately for you (and everyone), a mistake like that doesn't cause any twitching on my part, though I still feel I should point it out.5.gif
