Hey everyone, it's been a week or so since my last update as I have been pretty busy with work. However I do have something be it small to give you all and I hope you like it.

First of all I'll answer a few replies.

gabry85: Welcome back to the CJ, good to have you back on board.

crazyarchitect: Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Now for the update and this week it's one of New York's most famous landmarks the Statue of Liberty.

Stay tuned my people as there is more to come and please leave your thoughts and comments =]

    anarchy0029: Thanking you very muchly.

jacqulina: Thank you for commenting as always.

    matsw007: Thanks for dropping by.

madsnielsen: Patience my friend is a virtue lol. If you are referring to the seawalls which I assume you are I'm not sure off the top of my head who made them but if you look up seawalls on the STEX and LEX you should find them.

psander5: lol, I wish i could quit my job and focus solely on Simcity....actually in second thoughts, that would probably make Simcity 4 seem like a chore instead of a hobby. Anyway thanks for your kind comment as it is always appreciated.

collgab: Thanks for taking the time to comment, much appreciated.

Well, seeing how this weekend was pretty cold, wet and generally awful, here in New Zealand anyway, I had a bit more time to spend on Simcity and with this extra time I managed to edit quite a few lots and also finish another small island.

Now in my last post I showed you Liberty Island and I decided it wasn't finished as a lot of the textures didn't match, well that has been remedied as shown by the close up picture below.

Now for my next update I have gone with Liberty Island's neighbour, Ellis Island. For anyone not familiar with New York's history, Ellis Island was the entry port for over 12 million migrants between the years of 1892 to 1925. It was where many people's dreams began and ended as entry could be refused due to ill health or any number of reasons that made little sense to them. Today Ellis Island has been converted into a museum devoted to the history of immigration.

I Agree with Jacqulina. Your Man made islands are beautiful.

I just hope that a plane wont crash again on to the WTC.

Now seriously. Your recreation of NY is really lifelike. I bet you spent weeks planning all of the buildings.

    Again. Best of Luck

    Best

Excellent. I thought Liberty Island looked pretty good as it was! Just shows what I know! Ellis Island looks great too. I like the way the brisge ends in the car park.

You think the weather is poor in New Zealand?! It's the middle of summer here (England), and it's been raining for a week! We even had hail stones on saturday! It's all that oil we're (the world) burning. It's ruined the Brittish summer.

Keep up the good work with New York!

jacqulina: Thanking you, it took a while to get them how I wanted but I'm glad it paid off.

Santos16: Thanks, believe me the WTC in my New York will be immortal as a sort of tribute to the horrific events of 9/11/01 that no one should ever forget. Weeks have turned into months as building placement is so crucial to getting it to look anything like New York City.

psander5: lol, well it looked ok but I thought matching the textures would make it look more realistic and I'm happy with the result. Ok, I really do have nothing to complain about as we do actually have a pretty good summer here in New Zealand and after watching the British GP last weekend, I can't help but feel sorry for you guys and your miserable summers and I guess raping the earth of it's resources isn't helping the cause either. You could always escape to mainland Europe every now and then when you get sick of the rain so at least that's something!

xxbydesign: Thanks, I'll definately release a region shot once I've put a few other things together because at the moment it's a lil bit of a mishmash.

    anik: Thanks for stopping by.

I'm thinking for my next update which may very well be later on today, i'll continue my island theme and work on Governer's Island or work on the United Nations Plaze but i guess you'll all just have to wait and see =]

Hey everyone, my next update has taken longer than expected with real life posing a few problems but I will endeavour to get something out hopefully this weekend.

jjune4991: Thanks, I definately recommend visiting, it's an amazing city.

Godzillaman: It's coming, lol, maybe in the next few updates too!

anarchy0029: Good to hear from a NYC local and glad to see I'm doing it justice

jacqulina: Thanks, more to come soon, promise!

cmdp123789: They should be on the STEX if u enter in parking lots in the search otherwise they'll be on the LEX, hope this helps.

Good update! Lucky you that your Ellis Island is not cut in the middle (like mine). Looking forward to more,
