I created a steam users group for simtropolis so that members of the site can find each other in games they own and play over steam.

Awesome! I just can't imagine when I'd have time to play with other people. If I did play a Steam game with other members, it would have to be Counter Strike: Source.

The thing about the steam user groups is that if you join, people can play with you when they see you online...  Its a way to network with other people from here.

Isn't that a generalization? I personally know of a few Simtrop members who have played and enjoyed Half Life 2 and Quake 4,...including me.

In other news, I've bookmarked the site for future reference as I would certainly like to play against other peeps in Half Life 2 mods like "Strider Mountain", "Calamity", or even "Minerva:Metastasis",...but I cannot justfy it yet with having only a 56k dialup access,....soon, we will have a cell tower installed near the firehouse just 2 miles down the road,...then maybe I'll check back into this.

I think this was a good idea.I am sure there are alot of steam users here who will like this.

I mainly stick with the Single player in my games so you probably won't see me though.
