Another great update. I'd love to live in one of the houses right on the creek, they must have a nice view.

Nice suburban shots again, and the downtown looks very nice, especially at night. Get rid of those low-density residential houses, though! They hurt my eyes when I see them in a sprawling downtown district. 3.gif

Very nice downtown. Obviously you didn't scrimp on the custom content though your downtown could use some more traffic (visually, that is).

You run me over with the hilly suburbs again. I like the new red houses.

Hey everyone! Here is update 7 of 9 showcasing Highfield!

To start off, I didnt include any night pictures in this update. All because I included a large area, with 21 pictures! Today we look at the nothern commerical area of the town. Also, a few sport stadiums and griddy residential (of course!) surrounding it. So, if you have any comments, questions or tips for me, please, dont hesitate to tell me. I hope you enjoy this large update!

Looks fine to me - and I think the fountain in the roundabout is a real nice touch of class.

That's amazing! The roundabout is awesome, for starters. The zoo is great! Highfield looks so realistic! I love it, dude! Can't wait for #8.

The urban area was great! Nice mix of buildings and nice planning! In this last update I loved the simple yet realistic downtown. Looks grown, but there is little to no repitition, which is always great! Generally great work as usual! And for the Euro area, if your still looking for W2W buildings that will fit that style, make sure you look around SimCityPolska. You need to register and the site is a lil unstable, but it has some spectacular things in the download section. If you have already been, I can recoment it to anyone else here. If nothing else, help support a relitively new SC4 site!

    Hey there nice work!

Question though, how do you make the round-a-bout in the third picture down?

Is this something you have to download or what?

I'd appreciate any answer you can give me. Andrei

Great suburbs and commercial developments. The football stadium looks good, too, but I would've liked to see a parking structure (garage) or simply lots placed nearby. Needless to say, the rest of the area looks pretty good, especially the avenue roundabout.

Hey, those are some good looking suburbs - my favorite pic though is the 4th from the last, the one with the highway running next to the field, I think that looks really cool for some reason!

Hey everyone! Here is part 8 of 9 showcasing Highfield!

This update will show you even more residential areas sloping between many ridges and mountains. I also included a few night shots of the booming commercial area to the north of the downtown that I did not include in the last update. So, if you have any comments, questions or tips for me, please, dont hesitate to tell me. I hope you enjoy this short update!

Good work, I like the small CBD and the big roundabout with the fountain but you really should invest some more work on the sloped streets.

They are too steep - get a slope mod and play a bit with serpentines, it'll sure will be fun (after the initial pain in the ass that is ... 34.gif)

Great work with the SAM. I must confess I am still a bit lazy for it using it only in exceptional situations ...

Take care and don't forget to make Backups!)

Even though some of the houses look awfully steep, I still like how they are being used with the SAM on the hills. Great work! And like most cities, Highfield really seems to come alive at night. Excellent shots of the commercial area in all of its glory.

I could never do a realistic suburb or anything on a slope (except agricultural), but managed quite well, it's awesome... I love those seasonal peg trees, i would love to see your city in the fall...
