Anarchy0029- Thanks! Yeah, it does look like you can make some wine there. Lol.

Penguin007- Thanks! That river does look good. It winds through a lot of land.

Skram- Thanks my friend! I just used a few custom farms but mostly the default Maxis ones.

The Big Z- Thanks! Its not a trick, you can make each farm as big or as small as you want. You just have to bulldoze the road and then the farmer will have all that selected land.

Jacqulina- Thanks for the great comment! Actually, I just installed Peg's Brigintine water modd. That's about it.

Zelgadis- Thanks a lot for the comment!

    Schulmanator- Yes it is! Thanks!

Haljacky- Thanks for the very nice compliment. I hope you continue to enjoy this cj.

City2TheMax- Thanks for the comment! I didn't think about making the fields a different shape. I'll see what I can do.

    Suplado!- Thanks!

I will have a teaser for the next update tomorrow. Thanks for all the comments!

Hey everyone! This is a special 2 picture teaser for the update on wednesday! And btw, its just nature pictures, not any photos of the real city.

These are two pictures from the newest bbfan02's showcase city, Beth Plateau. It is not finished yet, I just want to catch everyone up to what I am currently working on. Basically, this city and I just got hooked back onto my coastal metropolis, Sea Reef City. As usual, if you have any comments, questions or tips for me, please, don't hesitate to tell me. I hope you enjoy this teaser.

    (Brief replies at end)

    -bbfan02-

Below: One of the major roads of the city, winds through the rugged and quiet atmosphere of Jefferson Redwoods park. You have to be aware of the numerous woodland animals crossing the road.

    bethplateaujan140811979hy8.jpg

Below: The highest point inside the city's limits. It has the only waterfall. The highest point usually is always snow capped and is inside dense brush.

Skram- Well, here it is! I hope you enjoy it!
NMUSpidey- Hey, thanks! Lol. Is that actually true?37.gif

Shanna- Thanks for the generous comment my friend.

    Jugioh1012- (Statement answered in message)

    And just in.....

My Showcase is now a TSCF member!

It is nothing really special. My showcase is just in a sister program with two other cj's.

Great farms, that stream looks very pleasant and that road up the cliff reminds me of hardknot pass in the lake district! Excellent pictures.

The road on the hill is awesome! I love how you leveled the land! I like doing that with railroad tracks, too. Great work, bbfan02!

Haha, it's absolutely true, for me personally. Every spring is heralded by rising temperatures, growing greenery, happier people, and of course, sneezing, itchy eyes/nose/throat, runny nose, and suffering.

But enough about me, your cj is still great. Those are some great nature shots. It's kind of amazing that in a game built on urban planning you can create some breathtaking scenery.

Hey everyone! Here is update 39!

This is a progress update. This update shows you what I have been working on lately with SC4. I have been working on this city, Beth Plateau and the other one, Sea Reef City. I am still working on Sea Reef. It has taken me a very long time to progress it and grow it. Mostly because the demand unusually stopped and I had a standstill. The current population for the city is 250,000. And there is still about 3/4 of the city limits undeveloped. So, sometime when I finish that, it will be so big that I will have to show it to you in 2 updates. (One the downtown and one the suburbs and other areas.)

But anyways, lets just focus on the city, Beth Plateau. I am not done with this city, I am just showing you the progress.

    clipboard06hd3.jpg

    POPULATION AND REGION

The current city boats a population of only about 7,000. It is widely spread out, and sits in a fertile valley between two mountain ranges. Because of the valley, farming is essential in that area. The land is also taken over by big Redwood trees, and can be seen the best in the city's only national park, Rosevelt Redwood Reserve. (RRR).

If you have any questions, comments or tips for me, please dont hesitate to tell me. I hope you enjoy this progress update.

Wow, nice suburbs! They look great on the hillside! Oh, and I like how your farm's aren't square. That makes them look very realistic.

Your roads are a little too steep for my liking, but other than that, fantastic update!

Heh. I'm guessing the sprawl isn't finished yet. Like a hungry monster. 3.gif

At any rate, it all looks good. Looks just like one of those places west coast USA areas that always gets the brunt of forest fires. No campfires! 3.gif

This is a creative CJ, it is more interesting to follow than the "look-at-this-skyscraper-filled-downtown" type of CJ. Nice work. Wonder when someone is going to make a highveld-type CJ.
