Wow, looks like I popped in here at the right time! Camden looks excellent. The diagonal newspaper building is a great choice for a downtown highlight and the parking is quite realistic. Those are very good looking school complexes also. I see that you managed to make the standard Maxis university into a very realistic campus using the canal pieces and pmt's. Creative work! Those sunken highway pieces look awesome in the places that you used them. The railroad overpass is great, and the interchange is also. Keep it up, I'll definitely be back for more!

Thanks for the great comments, guys! I'll do formal replies in the next update; either tomorrow (maybe) or Tuesday (more likely). Here's another pic to whet your appetites... 9.gif

EDIT: I just noticed that the road there is a bit bumpy. I'll have to straighten that out using my "techniques" (LOL)

penguin007 (1st post): I thought I'd just give that area a small focal point. Thanks!

2nerdy4u (1st post): As always, I thank you for your ongoing support!44.gif

    suplado!: Thanks for your comment!

ky72x: I'm glad the town is to your liking. It was one of the simpler towns to do, since it is all suburban. I hope you'll like this update as well!

2nerdy4u (2nd post): Well, look no further, my friend!

granto93: You guessed it; this'll showcase the richer areas of Camden. Thanks for dropping by!

Naryanna: I try and make it as detailed as possible. Thank you for the comment!

penguin007 (2nd post): Your wait is now over, Will, and everyone else because it is now time for...

Update 14- Lifestyles of the Rich and the Infamous

Get ready to see swanky suburban living! But first, let's check out the rest of the area first, shall we?

But it's all nice, just that bridge is my fav. You must finish the otherside of it!!

    Teaser

Yes, I know; I'm just a big teaser (LOL). Here's a sneak peak of the next featured area, The Port at Darrington. Replies shall come later.

    theportatdarringtonportse4.jpg

This is the first area I've showcased that hasn't been started yet. Here's the beginnings of the port.

    theportatdarringtonbattww3.jpg

The city is also home to the Bevelle Navy's Southern Fleet, ready to spring into action if a "problem" arises... 22.gif

Well, I should have the first update for this area either tomorrow or Friday, whenever I have precious time to spare. Until then...

    Wow.

This is an awesome region right here, with each city defined and constructed clearly and magnificently.

    I like it a lot!

One question... which walls do you use (retaining walls, etc)?

2nerdy4u (1st post): LOL, yeah those are some uber-rich peeps there. It was my first crack at making those kinds of residential areas. Thanks!

Markus J: I'm glad you like the bridge. As for developing the other side, it'll happen... eventually.

suplado! (1st post): Thanks! I tried to make it as inviting as possible.

penguin007 (1st post): LOL, yeah, Will, just like in the real world, they get all the space in my region as well!

    SODATWIN: Thanks for the compliment!

Schulmanator: Heh, I think I'm a little too old to know what Dragon Tales is, but I get what you're saying. Thanks!

2nerdy4u (2nd post): Well, look no further, fella, you found it! 10.gif

The_Hutt: Hey, long time no see! I'm glad you like the pics, come back anytime!

BlondeTwiggy: Hey, Twiggy! Once again, thanks for the review. Thanks for noticing the realism; that's what I was going for. (LOL) Hope you like this update as well!

AutumnWindz: Thanks for the great comment! As for the retaining wall, I used the ones made by buddybud, but I modified the base texture in the Lot Editor. Here's the link for them: Jeronij Concrete Wall Add-On by buddybud.

suplado! (2nd post): Don't worry; the wait is now over!

penguin007 (2nd post): Thanks, Will, and here we go with...

Update 15- The Porthole to the World

Welcome to the Port at Darrington, a bustling industrial area with a long and storied maritime history. Located just due west of Jeylin City, the Port at Darrington enjoys the same tropical weather as well.

    theportatdarringtonbrigqf3.jpg

Here's a sneak peek of the city itself. This is Brighton Avenue, which overlooks the ocean. The city is still being developed.

Some fantastic looking images there! I have to admit that I really like the way you decked out your navy port, the sand texture looks very good. Nice use of pegasus' walls too- in fact the only criticism I can find is that you're using IMAGESHACK! Use Photobucket please!... this page took about 3 minutes to load for me!!! Photobucket is always much faster.

The last couple updates just blew me away, they looked so darn amazing! The suburban development was very realistic, I just loved the look of the retaining walls and the small pond. The same goes for the port and naval base, nice details. Again, your use of the retaining walls was excellent paired along with the fences. Keep up the great work!
