    Possible Simlympic Bid?

Here's another teaser of what I've been working on: Dunham's sports complex. This area could possibly be a future Simlympic bid; check it out for yourselves!

    Dunham-StadiumTeaser.jpg

Just a quick reply to penguin007: those diagonal buildings (like the ones above) are found over on SC4 Devotion, just type in "prepo" and you should find them!

Next update should be on Sunday. See ya then!

Simlympics! Yes Yes Yes! Oh wow. It would be great to see Bevelle host. I'm sure you'd do an excellent job. I definitely support you. Good luck (if indeed you plan on bidding, I'm kinda getting a little excited here and way ahead of myself).

2nerdy4u (1st post): Thanks; yes I am great (LOL)! Just kidding, you're giving me a swelled head!

Mike the Mayor: I know, I really like that building; they are a nice addition to my already massive plug-in folder!

bbfan02 (1st post): Thanks, my friend!

SimRabbit123: I'm glad you are liking Dunham, buddy!

    gabry85 (1st post): Thanks!

Schulmanator: Thanks, everyone really seems to like the diagonal stuff!

bokrif: Thank you, my friend! As soon as those buildings were released, I installed them into my cities.

suplado! (1st post): Yeah, one of the many things that I have to overcome in the game is the lack of diagonals (buildings and lots). I'm glad you noticed them!

ky72x: Thanks, man! I spend a considerable amount of time using the Lot Editor to make the lots of the BATs match up with the surroundings.

bbfan02 (2nd post): I thank you again, man!

suplado! (2nd post): Oh, how right you are...

2nerdy4u (2nd post): Thanks, I like to have the buildings sort of gradually level down instead of abruptly going from tall to short.

penguin007 (1st post): Thanks, and I know you got the link I provide for those buildings.

    gabry85 (2nd post): Yeah, that's quite a time-consuming project, seeing as I'm building on a hill there!

bbfan02 (3rd post): The wait is now over!

    suplado! (3rd post): Thanks!

connorc24: Your question will be answered in the first sentence of this update...

2nerdy4u (3rd post): Thanks for your support!

penguin007 (2nd post): LOL! I look forward to seeing your bid!

Skram: Thanks! That stadium is a Japanese BAT; it's called Kobe Wing Stadium. There are two versions of it; I'll try and find a link for you.

KingTitan: Hell, my graphics card is nearly two-and-a-half years old! But it still works just fine, IMO. Please enjoy...

Update 26- Lighting the Fire Within

In this update, I'll showcase the area around the developing Olympic Park, which is hoping to be chosen for the upcoming Simlympics in March 2008.

    Dunham-Downtown3.jpg

This is a shot of the downtown area that I never posted before.

    Dunham-PoshHood.jpg

A posh neighborhood is shown here.

    Dunham-CanalHood5.jpg

This house belongs to the Mayor of Dunham, the Honorable J.T. Starks.

The next four shots are of the neighborhood flanking the eastern side of Olympic Park.

That will make a very nice bid. I like the downtown area as well as the rowhomes. All of the sports facilities look excellent! Clever idea, using those colored lights to represent the logo. Keep up the great work!

    Links and a Teaser

    The title explains it all...

    Dunham-OlympicRoundabout.jpg

Here's a link to the main stadium I used: Oita Stadium (The Big Eye)

I'm still trying to find a link to the Wing Stadium, but I can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Next update will be either Wednesday or Thursday. Later...
