stex problems?

anyone else having problems with the stex search ? i cant search for anything without getting an error

hasnt worked for me all day, tried at 9am edt, nothing, tried at 12pm, nothing, tried tonight, nothing..........

i have found a workaround!

it is quite simple:

paste this section of HTML code into your browser bar:

https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1&Keyword=

then, write your keyword(s) in behind the final =

and then copy and paste this section of HTML code into your browser bar after your keywords:

&type=all

the final string of code will look something like this:

https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1&Keyword=Xiziz&type=all

to start a new search, delete your keywords:

https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1&Keyword=&type=all

and type in new keywords after "Keyword="

so until the search is fixed, this is the only way i know of to do a search.

I think we're going through another "dry spell". There hasn't been anything new in a few days...very odd...

yeah the STEX is broken at the minute - if you look at the homepage it has the NHP map file but if you go on it - the download doesn't work and neither does the picctures - Vandy said they are trying to fix the problem.
