Unable to get cheats DLL to work

Both me and my friend downloaded the "extra cheats" and there are no extra cheats, just the original cheats by maxis.

The moolah cheat does not show up and it does not work when you rightclick the cheat box.

We both have deluxe edition.

You do know that you have to input a value along with the cheat, right?

e.g.  "moolah999999999"

note: the quotation marks aren't part of the cheat

Are you sure it didn't work right? They're supposed too. Download it again. Sometimes the files becomes corrupted during download. Somtimes it must be done 3 times. If that doesn't work, check where you put the cheats.dll file. That part matters, too.

Remeber it's case sensitive. Also do you have any of the other cheats that are from the Extra plugin?

Put it into your my documents/scimcity 4/plugins directory.  If you don't it won't work.  Make sure it's a dll file, if it isn't you have the wrong file.

funny, always worked fine for me. like autovino said, the dll must be directly in plugins, no other folders. for example, i have a BAT teams, LM, parks, Mods, folder in my plugins folder, but instead of keeping the dll in the mods, it stays in plugins. also, make sure you do "moolah #" with a space. complicated to figure out but works great!

it can't be in a sub folder within the plugins folder, and you must hit the spacebar once after typing moolah then enter a value...

i did all that and the only thing that shows up as a money cheat is "riskymoney" and a few other cheats, not all the cheats listed on the other thread.

I have all the cheats listed myself, including Moolah (which I happen to use on a regular basis). I'd try redownloading it, it *should* work, assuming you have the dll file unzipped, and not in any subfolders of the plugins folder.

OK, let's review the requirements:

1. Must have Update 1 at least.
2. Must have the file directly under the folder My Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins
3. Must not try to install while game is running.
4. To use, hit CTRL+X and right click the cheat box., select your cheat, and enter any parameters.

Moolah cheat is:

moolah 99999999999

Where the nines represent any reasonable number.  It is possible to overflow this, and kill your game.

Some cheats dont show up in the list, like the cheat "RoadTool" because you don't use much if at all
