night lights question!

does anybody know why some of the buildings I have downloaded at night their night lights doesn't show up?

I can help you (and hopefully anyone else that needs it) I see this request often, I downloaded all the updates, etc. that is needed to get your lights to work. Problem is, it's a huge zip file and was wondering from the community how I can put it up here somewhere on the site so everyone has it? Can I release it in the STEX?

First, welcome to Simtropolis!

Without knowing all the facts, here goes:

1)  Do you know that those buildings have night lights?  Some Batters do not add night lights to their models.

2)  Some of them?  Does this mean that you do see some night lights from custom lots you downloaded?  Otherwise you need the updates from the SimCity4.com website.

3)  Have you let the game run for a while?  Sometimes the night lights will not show up for a couple of months.

Those are the easy fixes.  If you still have problems you may need to tell us which lots are not working.  Good luck!

SuzyAngel - I would suggest contacting an administrator or Dirk to find out how to to that.

I Have the Exact same Problem with Downloadable Content, Though I also have Issues Registering on The SimCity 4 Website aswell. Pity, I only need that Night Light Update.

But I've Recently Downloaded the Update off of their Website that doesn't Require Registry ; )

There's nothing we can do about registration problems. The only thing you can do is call support, but don't expect much.

i think those are also available at www.simcities.com, if your having registration problems at simcity, try that. its under "downloads".
