This is really cool! I also live in the suburbs, up the Schuylkill a ways in a little town called Phoenixville. I don't think you'll make it that far though, prolly won't be room.

But I can recognize and name streets! You're doing really good!

As a Philadelphian Resident I would say everything is on key and accurate. I understand that the Sunken Highway ON/OFF Ramp for Vine St. Expressway hasnt been created yet. Anyway just for the Record my School is on North Broad Street. Not too far from Spring Garden.

    Update 5:

    More of the same.

    Region view

    With transportation map

    philadelphia2007082003cz4.jpg

Intersections like this will have to wait until the NWM/MIS come out, at which point I will convert all highways to RHW.

Earth ramps for ground highway overpasses

It also appears I have encountered some sort of problem.  More info here: https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=124&threadid=92078&enterthread=y

Ask and you shall receive.  I've also included the original grayscale map.  (Note that regions are not allowed to be uploaded to the STEX.)

Cool road layout! You can use for your freeway the one-way roads and the NAM bridge's puzzle piece for building your interchange... Btw hope to see Phily growing!

I was looking at that picture you had the real areal veiw of the intersection that you wanted to make. Here is the rundown (I've been throught this interssection/interchange soo many times). If you want to make it really realistic, than notice the two railways on both sides of the highway that is on the bottom of the picture (I-76). The highway near the bottom is lowwer than the train tracks (the tracks are on ground not elevated) so you will need to get hole digging lots to make it completly realistic. Now you can't do everything it that picture of the areal veiw and in philadelphia so live with it. There is an open tunnel running through the middle of the main comercial part of the city that has a road going above it in the same direction and it has an open side to the river. I will wish you good luck but I think it will be very hard.

Wow, that must be a lot of work trying to recreate all these roads, but it looks and great and is realistic. I've never done a recreation of a real city, but rather loosely base it off of a real city, but I alway fill in my roads first so I can figure out where to put everything.

At any rate, I'll look forward to more.

    Dan

I like fictional cities better, though.
