Hello! I'm new in the sim city world and i just have the sim city 4 standard version. I downloaded many LOTs for this game from this site, but must of them i cant see well in my game (eg. if the lot is a big police station  i just see the parking and some trees and some cars, but i cant see the entire building). What can i doooooo??? Im crazy to see all the lots that i downloaded but i cant!!!

Most of the lots, and downloads on the STEX require Rush Hour/Deluxe versions of the game.

You can get the Deluxe version on amazon.com for less than 15 USD.

i know but i only search (and download) for the sim city standard compatible lots. i heard about a kind of pack or patch but i cant find it!!!

There could be such a patch, but I don't know of it. The only patch/update I know of to fix problems with the custom content is the game updates posted at simcity.ea.com.

when going to simcity.ea.com, remember to click the "learn more" link under Sim City 4 to get to the original site for Sim City 4. The patches and some tools are available for download with registration.

I don't know if all of the parts of the site work properly anymore though...It was sort of abandoned for a while.

The lots here (and elsewhere) are zipped. Have you unzipped them before placing them in your plugin folder? Even with standard SC4, you must unzip (ok, guys no jokes here).

thanks for the help guys. I tried all of this things. The game that i have is borrowed from my cousin. He is already registered in the EA oficial site so i cant put the serial code there to create an acount and download the updates and he dont play since 2004 and dont remember his login and password to give it to me. I think my problem doesnt have solution. i have to play the standard game with the standard things.

One of the most effective ploys in the gaming world has been the must register for patches trick.  If you really want the game, go and buy your own copy of Deluxe.  We are not talking about all the money in the world.

same thing happens to me and I have Sim City 4 Deluxe and it is registered.

i only have sim city 4 standard no expansion, and it sucks that basicly everything in here you need rush hour! i downloaded a lot that said it will not require the expansion and im having the same problem heyrudy did

You have a different problem.  Please start a new topic for your troubles if reinstalling the game doesn't help.  Don't forget to tell us your machine configuration, you virtual memory size and the size of your plug in folder.

You have my deepest sympathy.  There are a limited number of lots available for the original game.  Look for older lots that do not display the RH symbol.  You should suborn someone into getting you a copy of deluxe on your next birthday or for Christmas, whichever comes first.

Yeah, go to simcity.com to get ethe patch. Otherwise set your ingame graphices and lot details to "high" it should work.
