Alta Storm: Part 2

The red zones faced the most severe damage but even the parts of the city that are inland faced some quite catastrophic damage aswell. It isn't safe to be in the sky either.

South Bank: Part 1

The South bank used to be vibrant dockland up until the war, it was used as it was a strategic place for prodcucing and supplying warships, until it was bombed. Since then it was just abandoned. However, the Alta government saw it as a waste of space and repopulated it with offices and work is still going on...

East central: Night
Two years has passed since the storm. They say the best time to see Alta is at night, they may be right. one of the most Beautiful districts at night is Alta's East central:

Hi there, so you got my attention again. Since last time i replied in your lovely CJ you have been showing some amazing stuff!! I'm not a big fan of disasters in CJ's, but your pics looked reallly realistic. As Uumke said; it looked like the Bijlmer Aircrash, in Amsterdam, about 10 years ago or so. I'm from Amsterdam and actually saw the plain go down.....

The suburbs look really eye-pleasing! Nice railline with walls!

Southbanks looks really well developped; I'm really beginning to like your CJ a lot. lol!

You know what; I'll be crazy and subscribe myself to your CJ! It 'll be a first...lol

Alta Sea Barrier

Two years has passed since the Alta storm, and the construction of the Alta Sea wall has finished. Hence the name, the sea barrier is projected to prevent any large and destructive waves by huge gates that come up from the sea bed underneath the bridges. The design still enables sea traffic to proceed freely through the gates to the docks which is regulated by the Sea Board Control Centre (SBCC)

wow, i missed great things.

it seems to me, that the storm brought a great boom for the city afterwards.

there are buildings i haven't seen until now. also the segmented bridge is beautiful.

Nice update - I like all the little details, such as the parking lots and the electronic signs right before the bridges. The control tower as well as SOMY's ship stand out well too. Keep up the nice work!
