Cricket stadiums

I was wondering......

When playing a region game in the london area is it possible to build stadiums for cricket matches, soccer, rugby or if I choose and Australian city while building my own region is it possible to have an AFL Australian rules football stadium?

Not everyone in the world play bass ball- and with the cricket world cup being played at the moment that should be obvious, so can we have a cricket ground or two?
Also I''m not sure about this I just bought the game is it possible to have swimming pools and sports complex centres?

Or even a formula one F1 racing track?

Nope. All I can say is petition EA for those for an expansion pack.

Also, I am a huge F1 fan so it would be nice to see that in there. Went to Indy last September to watch god damn Ferrari win... I hate them...

Too bad there wasn't an option for a domed roof, then the stadium could be anything you wanted it to be. Of course you wouldn't be able to watch.

Thats a little harsh. I thought everyone loved cricket, or at least they should.
Is there any chance that we could make our own buildings? With some sort of graphics tool?

I would have to agree with Kolyana, but only repeated meteors, then maybe some lightning, or a tornado to suck up anything not devoured by the meteor!!! Muwaaahahaha Just imagine they are playing cricket in the ML stadium, and that there are actually that many people there to watch it. Or go rent King Ralph from the movie store, if you have never seen cricket the way it was meant to be played. Booyah!

Only someone who doesnt understand the game could say such a thing......As an Australian I can only love the game. Hell we are the best!
But seriously it would be a nice option, not eveyone watches, enjoys or takes an interest in baseball...

you are correct in that observation, i have no idea how to play cricket, and have not intention on learning or ever playing cricket. Nor do i see the fun in eating an English desert whose name is 'Spotted ****'. But its all in good fun see, and i'm sure you can say a nasty word or too about baseball if it will make you feel better.

By the way, I happen to love to play rugby, since I am bigger than everyone else in girth and height, tho i haven't played in awhile. My cousin I hear is pretty big in Rugby over there, but i haven't any proof of this. His name is Chad Martin if you've ever heard of him, but if not, oh well, too bad i guess.

Does that guy play Rugby in Austraila? Or is he just a run of the mill bodybuilder? I can't help with much more than that, haven't seen him in like six or seven years. He should be about 24 or 25 years old if i remember correctly.

ok to answer the original question: yes there is soccer fields as one of the parks, the only stadiums are the minor league football (american) or major league baseball... at least with my version it is, im not sure about other international differences. the only swimming pools will be in the backyards of medium or high wealth residential houses/buildings or the pool on the golf course (i think)... but those are some excellent suggestions... who knows what EA has up their sleeve with the expansion packs

I'm pretty sure there is a small cricket ground on the STEX, there is also an AFL ground I think, both by Thesdale.

yep they are both by thesdale search for "thes" i have some of those lots i would love to be able to bat some structure but alas i don't have any skills in that area.

Here is an F1 circuit...it is a bit dodgy, but better than nothing. Also, you will see it in your parks menu as four different pieces...good luck matching it up right. The author mistakenly made the cost for each piece -$1000 per month. (he said it would COST $1500 per month for the whole thing...you can edit the file for that if you want), so with the whole track laid out you will make $4000 per month.

I realize that's not having world game sites in the game isn't cricket.  However, there is a BAT request thread, or you could do it yourself.
