Do you prefer Coke or Pepsi? Personally I prefer Coke but when it comes to the lemon or lime flavors I like the Pespi Lime. What are your opinions?

Well, I prefer Coke (and really like cherry Coke) of course I'm slightly prejudice as I own some stock in Coke to help with my retirement, but I wouldn't have bought the stock if I didn't like the product!

I consider both of them different flavors...I like them both...Pepsi is better though. I also like Dr. Pepper, Sunkist, and Mountain Dew.

I like Cola Cherry and Lime. But, if it's just Cola without anything added (cherry, lime, etc.), then I would prefer Pepsi.

I personally prefer Coke.  IMHO, Pepsi tastes weird and when you are outside, it takes like the grass in your lawn until the sun goes down (and I'm not the only one on ST that has said that either 3.gif)

Interestingly, I have heard that men tend to prefer the taste of Coke, and women tend to prefer the taste of Pepsi.  Would any of our female members be interested in sharing their opinions?  (I know that at least one has. 4.gif)

Traditionally I was into Coke, as it's what my parents always bought. And diet, not regular. For some reason the diet tastes better, IMO.

...but then I went off to college, where they had Pepsi in the cafeteria, not Coke... and started realizing that I liked diet Pepsi better.

My wife and I are both Diet Coke drinkers.  Various flavors haven't turned us on, and Coke Zero sucks.

Diet Pepsi and Diet Dew are my favs. Diet Coke tastes like what comes out of a dirty carburator after being flushed with a strong solvent. Coke tastes the same, but with corn syrup added. Seems like all Coke products have the same distinctive petrochemical taste.

Pepsi over Coke any day. My only complaint is that the latter is usually more available than the former.

I used to drink only Coke, many years ago. Then when that comercial came out, where they did the Pepsi challenge, drink both blindfolded, my friend and I were bored and did that. When I drank the Pepsi I thought it tasted really good, and I didn't like the Coke anymore. Never drank Coke again after that. Went from loving Coke to hating it, in seconds.

I got addicted to Pepsi, and was drinking 6 or more cans a day at times, for 15 years, then finally had to give up drinking Pepsi. My hair stopped growing and was falling out, my digestive system was in ruins, and my kidneys didn't work properly anymore, and I was hypoglycemic.  Now pop seems like poison to me, and it feels so good not to be addicted to caffine and sugar.

my kidney's still burn and my stomach is very very acidic...

ohh...but I guess I knew it was my addiction to soda that gave me all these problems in the first place...

Pepsi... but Cherry and Vanilla Coke are just awesome.  Wild Cherry Pepsi is pretty good, but not as great as Cherry Coke.  And Vanilla, you could just take Pepsi out of that one, since Coke's is so much better.

My favorite sodas are lemon-lime ones like Sierra Mist, Sprite and 7-Up.

cant stand Pepsi too sweet, even the diet version
Will drink H20 before I will  drink a Pepsi.
I like variety but only one can  a day of
the Diet  versions of the following

    Sunkist
    Big Red
    A&W Root Beer
    Cherry 7 Up ^
    Chery Vanilla Dr Pepper
    Ocasionaly a Diet Coke.

No one makes a diet version of a grape soda or id like those too.

Neither.  Dr. Pepper all the way.

Of course, if it's a choice between the two, I go with Pepsi.  Sweeter, less of an acrid aftertaste than Coke.

I like Pepsi better 3.gif But I do agree that when you are outside and drinking Pepsi it tastes discusting. When we have barbeques on Sunday's during the summer, I'll drink a pepsi outside and at first it tastes like freshly cut grass and then it goes immediantly flat.

I'll drink coke as well! I think coke tastes a little more refreshing than Pepsi. I also like the vanilla coke 4.gif
