Breaking News today explorers from the university of Belsiare have discovered a new island using satelite images and flyovers. What is surprsing is that there is a small settlement on the island with strange people living there which worship circles of stones although these are different from Stonehenge in Britian. The government have released a statement saying "we will not conqeur this island and will leave the islanders alone to preserve their traditions and beliefs"

    The images:

    The island is very remote

    crookedisle20mar0011838ou9.jpg

The housing is also very basic and there is a fishing boat launch

The strangest thing though is this circle of stones

    ENJOY!!! Comments please

I like those last pics, they make the island seem remote. Interesting how the natives worship circles of stone. 2.gif

Thanks granto93 but that is a terrible example of me doing docks and trying to keep a consitent waterfront all along the river.

    More facts about the city

-an international airport will be built (not a maxis one)

    also a city airport

there will be 2 football teams. Gdansk Utd and Gdansk City. These will join Haines fc and Belsiare fc and also Oaken Utd to form a league which will be fun

    a cathedral

    nuclear power plant

    waterfront

outer ring road and vague inner ring road

No bridges except one to get elevated rail across due to the river being to deep for subway

I can't wait for it to start growing. I have zoned and layed out a small sqaure and a medium sqaure already so 3 mediums to go and 3 small to go

The area is called Sudtenland and is on a coastline on the other side of the oaken islands from Ratislava if you see what I mean. So I will post updates from here starting tommorow

Hi guys here is the first update of the day the next will be later at 8.30pm. This is from the new region and this update concentrates on the rural comunitty Boppard

    Comments:

cleaner475: glad you can't wait hope you like it

aceofspades: glad you can't wait here is the start

    boppard13apr02118449797fo9.jpg

this is the village of Boppard

    boppard15apr02118449799zy2.jpg

This is the church for the small village. The graveyard is not looked after very well due to the gravekeepers old age thus the overgrown look to the graveyard

    boppard6apr021184497936pp1.jpg

The coastal road with farms on either side and also you may notice the area is using new solar panels as a trial

    boppard30mar02118449789qi8.jpg

More farms and the road going up to the Crawley pass passing a small lake in the forest

    boppard20apr02118449803jy1.jpg

In the north roads go through the middle of steep sided valleys which means remarkable scenery. Scientists have found out that most of the region was formed by glaciers

they also expect to find more civilisation signs like on haunted isle

    boppard30apr02118449811ua1.jpg

    boppard2may021184498139wr1.jpg

ENJOY!!! Don't forget to come for the next update tonight
