I've actually replied to your PM you'd sent me.

That should help with your question.

I downloaded the simeolean mod for increasing your set money values - based on the text file with the package, I just installed the $25M mod in the plugin folder.

However, I am not sure what might be happening - when I start a city, it showed I was to have $25M. BUT when clicked on the right arrow to actually start the city, and the city showed up, I only had the usual $100G you usually get, not the $25M.

So is there something I need to do or be aware of to actually get the $25M when the city actually starts up??? Does seem strange that is for sure.

Ralph

[Just firstly: do not use the old Simoleon modd that is currently in the Mods section with RH, as it is most likely not compatible with it. When I do get RH, today most likely, I will most likely release a Simoleon Modd that is compatible with RH, eventually].

If you find the Simoleon Modd is not working, just use the Obliterate function on the city (even if it is already blank) and then start the new city from there and it should work just fine. This occurs because of the way the game handles some files/properties in respect to a city. Big chances are too, that when/if I release a Simoleon modd compatible with RH, the same proceedure "may" have to be done for the same reasons.

I have been away from the game for some 6-8 months during which time I lost everything I ever downloaded for the game, all the mods, lots, BATS, maps, etc etc. I have been forced to start over completely, which I am not happy about but am finding it refreshing. However, I was working with the Simoleon RH mod before I lost everything and was forced to take a hiatus. And now that I am back, I cant seem to find the mod on the STEX. I have found most of the other things that I immediately looked to download but not this mod. Does anybody know if it has been removed? Or who created it so maybe i can search through their name. I tried Tropod and Raphaelninja but nothing there. Looking to get back to building...I appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey SimNation,

Time for my second post. I really enjoyed having the $Sim options from the original mod when I was playing vanilla SC4. Now I am using RH and it would be great to bring the not so radical (Ralphael's own words) starting amounts back:

However since I am a radical Turtle, the amount have been increased to $100M/$25M/$1M for Easy/Medium/Hard respectively.

I'm only a noobie and have no concept of what it takes to update these plugins (though I imagine the bulk of the work is done already), however, I believe the following plugin files as a baseline would be handy:

SC4 already provides:

Easy-$500k, Medium-$200k, Hard-$100k

Suggested Plugin combos:

Easy-$1M, Medium-$500k, Hard-$200k

Easy-$5M, Medium-$2.5M, Hard-$1M

Easy-$10M, Medium-$5M, Hard-$2M

Easy-$50M, Medium-$25M, Hard-$10M

I think that seems like a pretty fair spread and I'm interested to hear what others think; I for one will appreciate the variety of options complimenting the fine work done by Ralphael already.

Cheers, Rich

Not sure what happened to my quote above so just to clarify, this line:

"However since I am a radical Turtle, the amount have been increased to $100M/$25M/$1M for Easy/Medium/Hard respectively."

is a direct quote from Ralphael's description of the mod on the STEX. Cheers, Rich
