  1. Simolean Mod

Not sure what happened to my quote above so just to clarify, this line: "However since I am a radical Turtle, the amount have been increased to $100M/$25M/$1M for Easy/Medium/Hard respectively." is a direct quote from Ralphael's description of the mod on the STEX. Cheers, Rich
  2. Simolean Mod

Hey SimNation, Time for my second post. I really enjoyed having the $Sim options from the original mod when I was playing vanilla SC4. Now I am using RH and it would be great to bring the not so radical (Ralphael's own words) starting amounts back: However since I am a radical Turtle, the amount have been increased to $100M/$25M/$1M for Easy/Medium/Hard respectively. I'm only a noobie and have no concept of what it takes to update these plugins (though I imagine the bulk of the work is done already), however, I believe the following plugin files as a baseline would be handy: SC4 already provides: Easy-$500k, Medium-$200k, Hard-$100k Suggested Plugin combos: Easy-$1M, Medium-$500k, Hard-$200k Easy-$5M, Medium-$2.5M, Hard-$1M Easy-$10M, Medium-$5M, Hard-$2M Easy-$50M, Medium-$25M, Hard-$10M I think that seems like a pretty fair spread and I'm interested to hear what others think; I for one will appreciate the variety of options complimenting the fine work done by Ralphael already. Cheers, Rich
  3. Problem after installing Rush Hour

Hello N_O_Body & hi to the rest of SimNation (my 1st post!), This answer The rush hour disks contain the first set of patches. You only need update 1 for RH/Deluxe to run the game. quote> of yours is the closest I've found for what I'm looking for from trolling this forum so far. I currently have SC4 vanilla officially patched. Hopefully today I will be p/up the RH expansion pack. I've been careful (2nd time around as I had issues trying to run the NAM before I realised it was built for RH/Deluxe only!) so I have a complete copy of my C:/ files for SC4 vanilla unpatched and another with the patch and I am then using another complete copy of the patched files to which I have applied all of the mods/plugins from here; some that needed to update the SC_1.dat file and others that I've just dropped into MyDocs/Plugins or the C:/Plugins. On another thread I have seen ref to how only older mods interacted with the .exe and so I shouldn't need to remove all of the mods/plugins to get RH to work, however I am bit unsure so pose the question: "Which is the best order to install everything in to provide the most assurance that everything moving forward with respect to further patches/mods/plugins et al will work?" p.s. although I've got a couple of different backups of my files as mentioned can I simply swap them over as per whichever install route you recommend or are there reg.edit issues that I will not overcome unless I do a complete Uninstall/Reinstall from the SC4 vanilla disks?
