Update 1

Ok, welcome to my first attempt at showing of my sc4-skills 2.gif

This will simply be a showcase of some of my cities. I just want some feedback so let me know what you think. Since I am really lazy, i dont expect to update this far too often, just so you know... 1.gif

Ok, dont expect too much, but here are the first two pictures (Oh and i know there is no traffic, but its a plopped city and I havnt even pressed play yet 1.gif):

I love plopped cities. Almost all of mine are entirely plopped. It makes it so everything is in exactly the right place. Good job. Looking great so far

Wow, looks great!  Nice planning of plopping.  Every building fits in with the next, it looks great.  I especially love the Park Apartments next to the bridge.

    New pictures

Ok, this new set of pictures are closer shots of the same city. It is, as some of you clever folks guessed, a european city. This update is, as the first one, mainly focused on the older parts of the city.

    Enjoy!

Well jacky, Im using an abandonment-mod which prevents anything from looking abandoned for 180 years I think. Many buildings (mainly those by Odd from Sweden) arent functional and thus will not abandon. And the buildings that are functional usually get filled up with tenants after some time, when the demand is right. I also recommend zoning some of your neighborhoods to get a healthy population.

Hope that clears some of it up 1.gif

Btw, glad you like my pictures.

these look excellent, i'm personally a big fan of plopped cities, however i recommend the plopping of a traffic generating lot or two, this generally gets rid of the 'dead' feel around plopped cities. [Heres a link]

As I say, you have an excellent city, it has the lovely style you can only get by plopping a city.

What an excellent CJ, I love the European feel and most of all I love the W2W youve got going on here. It's a really well thought out city.

Quick question, where did you get those lovely paths for your parks?

It was a nice cj, while it lasted. Anyways, SCD is nothing compared to ST. 4.gif Except, they have BSC. We have to download any BSC stuff from SCD.
