Well I stated to The Hurt Locker last night and I got about 15 minutes in and had to turn it off. It is a bad movie. The story line (for what I saw of it) was bland and predicable and I think I am over the dogma style films, rally if I wonted to see out of focus and shaky camera work, I would go and watch Australians funniest home videos

It is now on the list with other such bad movies witch, I will rate now because I am bored today

Anaconda
Poor acting and just a all round bad movie, at one point I think they just though a fake snake down a water fall and just reversed the footage to make it look like it was swimming up it.

Snakes on a plane
What where they thinking, it should never got part the brain storming

Ion man 2
The first 3/4 of the movie was about nothing and last part was about the first part being about nothing, ummmm they must of ran out of ideas, I don’t rally know how but they did, they tried so hard to fabricate a story line out of so many different little ones, but they failed badly, the hot new personal assistant witch so happened to be in some secret organization or something, I don’t really know what was going on there. The bad guys where really weak , rich bad guy was pathetic, the other guy was much the same, they make this dig deal about the bad guys bird and how I he like it so much, but then what? For something he like so much about he seemed to forget it quite quickly I just don’t see how they could have made such a bad move of ion man.

Australia (the movie not the county)

Ummmm a egotistical jerk fest of a movie, the actual name of the move had nothing to with the movie is self apart from its very broad location, I guess it like if they called peal harbor (the movie) “America”   it sound quite stupid, most of the movie looked like a 2 hour add campaign rather then a movie, I guess it was supposed to be about the booming of Darwin and a love story, but wide shoots of every scene was a bit much,

To the director,   yes we know out back Australia is very nice, but know all this you don’t need to keep showing us, we live hear remember.    How about focusing on the film witch is what I paid money to see. Then there where those weird ads they put on T.V to prompt Australia around the world based on the movie, where they showed people living crummy lives in other cities around the world then a kid pops up like one Japanese horror film and takes then to the land of OZ chucks dirt around and that some how make there life better.
What the hells, if I can’t understand what the add is about as an Australian what hope as every one ells got.
All in all this is what happens when you give  people to much money to make a film, it’s sad because there are so many other grate Australian films makers out there, I also think the film was tax payer funded as well, but I could be wrong

"2012: Supernova" a masterpiece of a movie that, if watched for more than a few seconds, will paint a face of horror on the unfortunate victim's face permanently.

I think that any movie that has had the honor to be reviewed by the Nostalgia Critic deserves to be in the category of worst movies.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

Bad language is used so I cannot provide a link. Just Google "Nostalgia Critic" and "That Guy With The Glasses." He reviews the worst movies out there and points out the worst things about them with humor.

Well, my nominee for the worst contemporary movie is Wesley Snipes Will Smith's edition of I Robot.  This plot is not even hinted at in Asimov's writings, but comes straight from a combination of wild desire to please some producer and a taste of Karel Capek.

I Robot is actually a collection of writings about the development of the Positronic Robot and the vicissitudes of Susan Calvin, who was anything but young and gorgeous in the novellas.  She is described by the author as being a rather dumpy, sixtyish spinster with no redeeming human features.  In one of the stories it is clear that she considers the  robots as her children.

If I wanted to produce a movie about robots and the fear that humaniform robots inspire in humans, I would make The Caves of Steel.  It is a police procedural, which should be popular in these days, ahd the robot in question is accused of murder.  And one robot, inexplicably, apparently commits suicide.

"2012" bothered me with its cynical cut-and-run mentality. Too bad for all those other poor saps...but at least I got my winning ticket to safety. Ideas about the Rapture, including the entire "Left Behind" series, strikes me the same way. While I expect chaos and struggle in any end-of-the-world scenario, along with exhilaration at suruvival, I would also expect some profound sadness and chilling loss should so much of the world be wiped out. "On the Beach" at least did that aspect slightly better...eeek, the Australian government in that nuclear holocaust book and movie freely distributes suicide caplets to its citizens so they may avoid the agony of certain death from the slowly encroaching worldwide cloud of radioactive fallout. Just that thought is more disturbing than any special effects spectacle destruction of Las Vegas and Los Angeles.  "The Killing Fields" offer the same chills...rather than the elation of our own escape and survival, there is the horror of what has taken place to those really left behind.  Meanwhile, "Independence Day," another Will Smith turkey, drops the ball...the world may be wiped out, but hey, Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum still get to spout cool quips to happy July 4th fireworks.

Ack, what happened to the Sci-Fi Channel now that they have become Syfy? "Dinocroc," "Dinoshark," "Sharktopus!" What next, "Octomom vs. Squidbabies?" Actually, perhaps that will fit with their obsession with WWE and reality ghost hunters. Yawn!

Well, I think everyone is aware that ScFi is the plural of ScumFum.  Now that it is SyFy, one can only think they are further catering to the low-intelligence, mother-my-martian-lizard crowd.  In that regard I think i will Sylently Fly to another channel.

I agree. SiFy is the worst channel there is. Except for Fox which is filled with biast bull. The worst movie I think is Birdemic. It is pure crap. Reference:

Here:

You can tell it's faked. I never watched it but BBC said that it could be known as the worst movie in the world.

Another example is Hancock.  That was far from a great movie.

The answer to my question of what syfy is an acronym for, it's syphilis.  Now go have fun and make jokes about that.2.gif  I'm sure you'll get lots a good laughs outta that.

By the way, no movie is worse than The Hottie And The Nottie with that pampered, air-headed, little snotrag Paris Hilton.

Tsk, tsk, sensitive, aren't we?  The vernacular for siphilis is sif.  You maybe live in a different neightborhood than the one I do.  In the 1950's there was a standing joke about guys who were sent to the police action at the thirty-eighth parallel in Chösen.  It was said that they had caught Gone to Korea.

An interesting euphemism among historians for siphilis is Montezuma's Revenge.  There was no siphilis in Europe until lthe conquistadors brought it back from North America.  It was endemic in the population in Mexico.  There was a raging epidemic throughout Europe starting around 1500.
