bah, this is more of a giant experiment, seeing what works and what doesn't.

anyway, pops at 4.3 and let me say this before i make a thread about it:

    PARKS FTW

if you dezone one block that isn't necessarily very important (i.e. no skyscrapers or high wealth buildings) and fill it with parks, all buildings around it, if the conditions are right, will almost always go to higher capacity residential buildings (condos) the only problem is that after i used parks, residential hit rock bottom demand with 2 years.

i don't know if they're related, but it is nearly impossible to get it back up, so build all of your residential, let it grow into low-medium wealth apartments and then dezone a block and plop some parks and watch the buildings grow 9.gif

    I Have no idea 3.gif

let's just say it takes forever to navigate a fully developed large city.

but other than that, it takes about 2-3 seconds for buildings to render when scrolling around

    trust me, no it wouldn't.

you would see 2 highways, and a spiderweb of roads.

it's not that interesting, especially because transportation is my biggest problem right now

Sirris - and that does encourage a lot more people if there is less traffic but then it does decrease commercial demand so

Hmm, right now that supertower sticks out like a sore thumb, if it was going to be kept it would need to be around other super towers and large skyscrappers so that it looked more natural. I would suggest looking at the CJ of that buildings creator, Battlefront Zanapolis if you have not already to get an idea how to best use it and where to find other towers that will help it blend in.

thanks, i'll check that out 2.gif

anyway, my population just hit 5.1 million, twice the size of brooklyn and the size of brooklyn and queens together.

and i might request this to be moved to CJs, i haven't decided yet, but if you're following this and loose it in game experiments then it'll be in CJ's
