@Thundercry: I have been looking around...you want that diagonal dirt street mod...I didn't have any luck finding it for you unfortunately. I also couldn't find any dirt road mod...I believe it was one of the files that didn't transfer properly in the transitions to ST 5...or it was removed by the creator for conflicts with other mods...I am not sure which...but I didn't have any luck on finding them...I believe the creator of the file was Trolca.

I see these mods recommended all the time yet I have not been able to find a single one:

hole digger lots

bridge height mod

tunnel slope mod

jerroni's streetside mod

Toroca's Opera house fix

Less Dilapation

City Hall Fix

I have searched for each one of them in every section on this site and I get results like this:

@Metropolis:

The two buildings you are looking for are the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building and the Shiodome Media Tower, both of which are real-world Tokyo landmarks.  They are not on the STEX, but come from the Japanese BAT community, and were made by great BAT artist ks.

Ok, I found out in this thread that the hole digger lot is actually "Hole Digging Lot".  So just to convince myself that I am not crazy or just plain stupid I search again , three different attempts with three different keywords:

Hole

Hole Digging Lots

Digging

All retrun results like this (replace Digging with the keyword)

Viewing: "Digging", All Categories, All Types (0 records, page 1 of 0)

In other words, even if I take the EXACT words off the name of the mod, using that keyword search in the Modd files section returns nothing.

I did the same tests with some of those other mods I was looking for; once the page was located a few posts above, I used those words for the search.  Nothing is ever returned.  Zip.  Nada.

The only problem is that it seems to no longer be available on the STEX.

By the way, there is a very interesting post on slopes and tunnels in the Three Rivers Region CJ, starting on Page 4, date / timestamped 03/30/2006, 04:44 PM if you're interested.

Your first questions is easy to answer.  The Hole Digging Lots are actually located on the STEX and not in the Modds and Downloads section.  Doing a keyword search for "digging" in the STEX Search will find this Lot.

Your second question isn't so easy.

In the Modds and Download section, I can search for Dilapidation and find nothing.  Yet, if I search for Abandonment, I find the mod.  If I search for Bridge, I find the Bridge Height Mod.  If I sarch for Realistic, I cannot find the Realistic Water Mod even though I can see the download choice in the right-hand frame?!?!

I suppose that makes me confused as well...

slope mods are generally found in the STEX.  bones1 has a slope mod; unfortunately I don't have access to the Mods registry @ Simpeg's site but search the STEX for bones1.

kt3 also has a slope mod; do a similar search in STEX.

there were a couple of other slope mods, but authors' names escape me at the moment.

hole digging lots are by smoncrie.

I had it before but i lost it in a new installation of Windows. And is there an update to that file? The one i had did only fix files for the buildings that were in the original game, not Rush Hour.

I've been searching around and I can't find an answer to this:

I would like to download an entire city and play around with that. I see that there are really creative and beautiful cities out there, but I don't know if it's possible to download an enitre city. All I can find are ploppable lots, rec/civic lots, etc. but not cities... Anyone out there with some tips? Thanks bunches!
