I always cross the A-40-bridge when going to relatives living at the other side of the rhine (I live north of the ruhr and east of the rhine) and I enjoy it everytime.

and don't forget the car-ferry at the rhine in the "Rheinaue" in northern duisburg. 4.gif

fantastic work indeed.

P.S. the terraformer exports ingame-selfmade maps 4.gif

just type in "terraformer" into the search panel of  "modds and downloads".

once you have the terraformer load the region, now a window will pop up asking you which cities you want to protect and so on, simply click ok because you don't change anything in your region. then go to the universal tools and hit "export map". then you only have to convert the png into a 256-colour greyscale jpeg and fine-calibrate it for rendering 9.gif

looks nice!! do you know, that a lot of ships that deliver goods in the Ruhr-Area, are coming from the port of Rotterdam?? allmost 75% of the goods in Rotterdam are transit goods and the biggest part goes to the Ruhr-Area. I'm proud to be dutch!!

OH!!! I reaaaaally like this project! And that thing about ports, well, you can make beautiful work with all the content in STEX, mate. I can't wait to see how the cities are developed! Well, it is being developed actually. But I can't wait to see more, my friend!

Oh, I love your regions.... Your Paris region was what got me started on my city-design technique that I use for my CJ.

So you started Duisburg ... as far as I know it has the biggest inland harbour worldwide but I might be wrong ...

The name of the harbour area is Ruhrort btw - named after the same river that gave the region its name ...

What to say ... these railways do look great ...

Nice work, my friend! Those industries are really good! I love steel industry because I love in the steel center of Spain! Arcelor, Aceralia and Ensidesa were here, and now all the union is from Arcelor!

Great work, and I can't wait to see how the cities start to grow!
