@all: Nice areas in here, time to show one of mine!

 the island of KO MEANG

The island of Ko Menag is a first class touristic destination in Kaibesia. You can find several hotels on the island, but you will also find nearly empty beaches. As well the island is famous for its temples.

The ministery of Tourism in Kaibesia (MTK) made it a major tourisitc attraction. Here you can see an advertisement flyer (first mosaic I post!):

mosaicfinalKopie.jpg

Now, let's take a colser look on it.

Here you can see the northern end of the island:

img0111.jpg

Going down south we reach the hotel settlements:

img0112.jpg

img0114.jpg

As well here's the gateway of the island, the ferry port connecting it with Don Meang on the mainland:

img0113.jpg

Going further south we find the largest village on the island, famous for its temples:

img0115.jpg

The small fishing port:

img0117.jpg

Going further the settlement nearly stops and the beaches are getting more and more empty. These beaches are only reachable by boat:

The island of Ko Menag looks great! How did you get the sand so bright and white? Regardless looks great.

@Olympian: I'm using a texture for white beaches and beach packs. The colors of the sands looks very similar, so you just plop the beach pits on land as long as possible and then make a harmonic transition to the green ground by using mangroves and palms!

here are the mods I'm using:

https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=2027 (I'm using the white texture)

The beach sets:

https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=710

Just experiment a little bit!

Very nice work everybody!

South Bridge Village is situated on the south-end of the Callahan Bridge. Callahan is the second largest city in Marquette County (the region) and it sits just on the other side of bridge. The south-end of the bridge never experienced the building and business boom that the north side did and for that reason, even though it is just across the river from downtown, South Bridge Village is still very quaint.

Boardwalk St., conveniently located just next to the boardwalk is the main tourist street featuring breathtaking views of downtown Callahan, the bridge and the beautiful Marquette Sound.

SouthBridgeVillageIII.jpg

Just to the north is the Baits round-a-bout built in 1996 to relieve the mess of an intersection just to the north. Traffic now flows much smoother and easier access is allowed for tourists in the area.

SouthBridgeVillage.jpg

An overview of the area shows Boardwalk St. on the water's edge, Baits Round-a-bout, the divided highway that allows expressway access (Leonard Rd.) Leonard Rd. also offers modern shopping, the Fairfield Inn - South Bridge Village, various restaurants and offices. I-65 goes N/S and you can see the Callahan Bridge at the bottom of the screen.

This is the best I have got for the tourists.

RiverParadise-WestSide.jpg

They can rent homes on the river, and you can take out boats on the beach. Sorry if it wasn't very good. 15.gif

Wow, feliwi!  I love the look of that island 44.gif!

Well, here's a beach I did similar to Xperian's (on the previous page) called Condor Beach.  I'm almost certain that most people have seen at least a few of these pictures, but for some reason I haven't posted these in this thread yet.  Oh, well...better late than never 34.gif.

One of the most expensive hotels in Dimland became reality. The lake hotel offers a unique environment which you can never forget. The price for simple suite begins from 2500

Here is the ferry terminal where tourists come into dry docks here is the time table AM 7:30, 9:00, 11:30 PM 1:00, 3:30, 5:00, 7:30, 9:00, 11:30, closed.

EagleRock-May15251230406033.png picture by DanielCote

Heres a newer aria that was built out of the water like dubia. Plans For an OWW2 fairiswheel are going up. and stores and population is thriving because of tourism. and as you can see to show the towns heaping whealth a brand new 2 floor school has gone up with dark brick and marble floors students certainly get pampered.

EagleRock-May12251230405996.png picture by DanielCote

in down town Dry Docks not much commercial has changed since the glass office building has more than craved the hunger for employment but some c.p row home like houses have poped up in place of the non historical Maxis buildings and a $ C.P tetement has poped up in place of a C.P $ house.

EagleRock-May9251230405957.png picture by DanielCote

downtown has been bustling ever since after the war and the Yatch club has gotten more members than I have seen in years. There are lots of resteraunts due to tourists and there is Pine park a war memorial built 1945 after the war.

mitsos: Very beautiful it looks like Dubai but how do you keep the houses on those Islands from getting abandoned without transportation

feliwi: beatiful sand, beach huts and palm trees! Youère rocks give it a realistic touch and where did you get that water mod

mitsos: Very tranqual modern paradise good thinking for a green future!

Andrew Rb123: I like youère city but the water walkway textures donèt fit with the commercial walkway textures I like youère layout though.

mitsos: Great ruins the rocks make it that much realler.

Youère picture looks perfectly like Paris not to mention the beautiful textures! The trees and the cars look real to!
