Hi.In this topic we "show us" our touristic areas and rate. This is a touristic forum,in it,you can post your pretty or/and interesting area of your city.

Here, you can post momuents(museums, arenas, commercial centers, beatifull parks, natural areas etc...),and rate of the others. Its not necessary to contain the history of the momuent, but, if it will be able, this would be interesting.Interesing too is you post edited images:to add beauty and special effects.

A thread start with a example. In the exemple,i put the history, but, remember, its not necessary.

Start with the church of the Leviatã city(different name,no?9.gif).The church of Leviatã have been created in 1970,in the time of the industrialization. This is not the first church of the city.If you can see,in a commercial area.

Leviat-17Mar.png

I the next touristic area of this city is the national market, created in 1995.Behind,a private arena of medical testing. There in the commercial area too.(sorry about the blue zone without of the city and this is not edited with paint).

Leviat-10Mar.png

Now,a photo of the fish market, created in 1964.

Leviat-14Mai.png

Here it is,the president´s house,created in 1990.

Leviat-13Jun.png

And here´s,the first theatre of the city, created in 1984.

Leviat-20Jun.png

And now,the secret tower, created in 1920,to watch the region.(sorry about the pause)

Before I start commenting:

Please convert your pics into jpgs - your png's are just too big and neets eternal to load - the one I checked because it loaded f?rst(!) was more than 900 kb(!) fo 800*600 - with a jpg you could decrease their size to 150 kb or less without any remarkable loss of quality.

I can see some nice pics but no context. An overview of that area would be nice as touristic areas are rather small IRL.

Such old looking buildings like that made made between 1964 to 1995 makes no sense at all...

Again....another obviious "better than anyone" comment.

How about words of encouragement like Nardo69?

It's not hard to be nice.

Maybe he's encouraging him to give us a bit more of an explanation for his choice of dates? Why would every post have to be unanimously positive?

Very interesting thread!  I like that beach resort (and it really sets the mood of the picture that it was taken at sunset).  I also like the National Market...it's a very nice-looking BAT that I don't think I've seen before.

Ahh...I only have one "tourist" area.  I call it Emerald Plaza, or Emerald Square.  It started with a commercial area, then someone saw the CoCo Park of China and was inspired to build something like it in this city (of course, it ended up looking exactly like it...3.gif), and it drew tourists, and with it hotels, more shopping areas, and even a Club in the sky, so to speak.  Now it's one of the most visited areas in all the city.  Anyways, here it is as it stands today (facing North):

And at sunset (facing West):

Hmm let's see... do i have any tourist infected areas where all the sheep go... oh yeah! Vandalsfjella Brygge of course!

The area where all the americans , japanese and what else the cat drags home ..

Really don't see why, it used to be a dirty old harbour, but in the early 1980's they started fixin' it up a notch.

The place for the sheep:

The_sanderson - I personally don't think we should rate these, simply because there's already a rating thread here. People could just post there if they wanted a rating...and some might not want to post here if they knew that their pictures would be subject to a ranking. I like what's been posted so far, and I want to see as many more as I can. Just my opinion...

I really don´t know about the fort, and i don´t remember it name.Really thanks of your suggestin masochist.About the last touristic point,it´s really pretty, but it´s unrealistic because in Simcity, the cameras 1,5 and 6 are unrealistic. To add a smalll realism, sharpen the photo with Microsoft Photo Editor and see the results!

Today,i have two photos of the historical ville:

Glenni, how do you get the shoreline or whatever it is you have that you have!? I'm new to this and I dont know how to explain it properly but I like how city meets the coastline and has the wall to block the water from coming into the land. Where did you get that from? Cheers!
