Great update Shanna! The horse stables remind me of the ones near what used to be my grandparents' cabin in the Rocky Mountains. Ah, that brings back memories...

Anyways, I can't wait to see more!

This is some gorgeous work, Shanna - a perfect marriage of nature and farmland.

I especially like your waterfalls, and the lookout hanging over the cliff looking at the falls a couple of pages ago is especially nice.

Hi, Shanna,

I like how you have used many various pieces to put together this ranch so that all is one.  The little white house with the blue trim and the dear little cupola is very true life.  I don't remember seeing it or the smaller brown barn with the wheels and stairs before, are they from the STEX?  I have OP4's barn, and like your placement of it, but I am always looking for more.  You have also gotten Sorchin's plop water looking so wet that a bear was enticed to go fishing.

Hope you are well, take care.

This is not properly an update, but a re-developping!^_^
In my last update i've showed you this pics:

    5.jpg

This combination didn't like me... so i've re-developped it! Here as it is the new look of this small area:

    9.4.jpg

    9.2.jpg

    9.1.jpg

I've changed other particulars and this is the new look:

    9.9.jpg

    10.jpg

Now I'm quite satisfied!!! What do you think: do you like more this area before of after the re-developping?
And now other pics of this zone! The cow ranch...

    9.5.jpg

... and the equestrian center! This is also the first medical center of Laurie!

    9.6.jpg

    9.7.jpg

That's all! I'll continue to work on this area (and also in the vineyards) and i'll show you the progresses in the next days!
As I love photoshopping i made this bonus pic for you! Take care my friends!

Fantastic, you're in the same level with jacqulina in natire/rural SimCity! Allthough I wouldn't like to live there because of dirt and mud, it's still beautiful.

Relaxing as always. I especially love that wilderness of a garden.

Let me make a suggestion: move the fence of the equation center on top of that retaining wall as a lind of fall protection and rotate that gate by 90 degrees. From the isometric view (and the til system of SC4) the wall may not look to steep but these kind of walls are rather high and dangerous IRL.

And I am a bit rusprised to see that special PEG building 6.gifin your Cj ... (which doesn't mean I don't like it - used it in Urland quite some time ago a bit similar 9.gif)

    Take care my friend!

    Hi, Shanna,

Ah, yes, now I recognize the little blue and white house.  It looked so innocent in it's first appearance.  My face is as red 43.gif as the porch light for not realizing it!  3.gif  It must be the unspoiled nature of your region that lent it such a sweet and unworldly air.

Thanks for the link to the blacksmithy.  I had never run across it before, and I like your revamping of the surroundings, too.  I hope the loggers don't cut down too many of your pretty trees.

Yes, goodnight, and, uh, have fun...I mean, sleep well!

    Hi Shana,

I'm simply overwhelmed by the beauty of your last updates!

You and Jacky are the best when it comes to make natural looking setups!

My favorite is update 10, all those pics are so beautiful! I must disagree with Bernhard (Nardo) who don't like the dirt road mod, in my opinion it goes very well with the style of your village, the only thing I don't like about that particular mod is the fact that it turn to asphalt  when we plop things nearby, what a shame...

But your pictures...... WOW just WOW! 36.gif

Please continue to spoil us with your talent!

    Take care

    -John

Uh, oh, it looks like there was an attempt to open a somewhat, shall we say "under cover" business in Laurie, and of course without getting the proper permits and approval of Mayor Shanna.  But she is onto them now.  It looks like their future is somewhat uncertain...

Seriously, Shanna, I hope you will forgive me for having a bit of fun.  I have this in my plugins, too.  I thought you were aware of it, and I got a great chuckle out of it myself.  I do still like that house.  It's a bit large in scale but a design that you see a lot in RL.  I was looking for the building as a prop in the Lot Editor last night but didn't run across it.  I think it would be cute to use for a "Grandma's House" type lot.  But what to do about the porch light???  I suppose a person would have to change that in BAT, and I've not ventured to try that.

At any rate, unknown background aside, this lot looked quite nice in your setup.  You are doing a wonderful job with this journal, and I have enjoyed it and been inspired for my own attempts.  See you in the next one!
