Ok, what im going to do is "restart" the race for next Saturday (the 17th). That way if eveyone is still interested (or new people) we will have a fresh slate. I will also allow everyone to "pair up" with someone they are good friends with across Simtropolis.

You wont have to post pictures for airports but it would be wise to read the clue and see what its asking. If it asks you to post a picture then you post a picture (at the pitstop, if it asks you to provide the cost of something, then you provide the cost. It's basically a scavenger hunt. The reason why I have you wait to "post" your findings is that it prevents people from cheating.

So the deadline to sign up will be next tuesday (the 13th) to sign up to play. However the only real major change is that you can pick someone who you want to be partners with and all the same rules will apply. Once I have at least 9 teams of 2 then we will begin the race for the 17th.

^ I have a problem with Timezones...as I live in India and my (current) partner is from Brazil. I mean we could not be far apart. Due to RL restrictions and time zone differences, I can't login and co-ordinate with my team mate. I have two choices:

A difficult choice: I find a partner who can be online at the same time when I am.

Easy choice: I just bail out of this game.

I can understand you concern amal81, that is why i'm offiically scraping version 1 of this game. Version 2 is basically the same thing but you can choose your own partner, so you can feel free to choose who you want providing he or she is on ST.

If you do go through with the "choose your own partner" thing, what would be the proper procedure to choose a partner - to work it out through the forums or through private messaging?

Is the first leg that you posted on the last page still applicable though you're redoing the game?  This is completely confusing me here.

Yes im redoing the game, I figured it would be better to have everyone choose there own partner. If this somehow doesn't work out then we can attempt to figure something out to make it work.
