Um, the 17th is a Saturday, not a Friday.  If you want it to be starting on a Friday, the date you're looking for is the 16th.

Ok the race will officially begin this coming Wednesday sometime during the 24 hour cycle. I do understand that we all come from different parts of the world and that's why you will expect to legs at different times. Also two more things, be sure to "subscribe" to this post or "stay active. As you don't want to hold up your team and risk being eliminated. Now in the case your teammate has mysteriously vanished, then you will be responsible for him or her and their answers. One last word of advice is to make sure each one of you re-read the rules as they will be enforced and you don't want to risk a penalty. Now in the worst case scenario, where at least 2 players (from seperate teams) have fallen behind then a tie breaker will be in play to see who continues racing and who's eliminated. There will be 12 legs total on the race. 6 of them will be elimination legs, 2 of them will be non-eliminating ones, the last one will be a double leg for the final 3 teams. There will also be a double leg sometime during the middle of the race with a special twist.

ooo...sounds like we may have some rivalries...however to let everyone know that the fast forward and yields were determined on specific legs (by drawing a number out of a hat). Therefore that those legs that contain these will remain a surprise as it has already been predetermined. So there will be no surprises when checking into the pit stop on the race. All i do ask is that if you happen to get eliminated, I will ask you and your teammate that you accept the fate. As it's part of the game. However if this does turn out to be a huge success then when I launch the 2nd installment you can come back and seek revenge...

Also a few last things to make note of: Teams will not be allowed to have duplicate answers or I will send both teams back searching and that particular image or item will be disqualified for the rest of the teams. The other thing is that all teams will be separated throughout the race just like on the show. As one clue might say there are 2 charter buses leaving City A to City B. One leaving at 4:00 pm, the other being at 6:00 pm. In the case that something like this happens there is nothing to worry about it as there will be nothing associated with it but just bragging rights saying that your team has left earlier but all teams will receive the next clues the same time. The one last thing is that certain clues will require you to contact people on Simtropolis (more details will follow when it happens).

If we happen to fall short of players during the race then we will restart the entire race and then you can pair up with whoever you want or we can use the first leg as a "trial leg" and then we can switch the teams where/if needed. Now let's begin.

I’m standing here in Central Park in North America’s largest city. New York City. We will begin racing very shortly. I hope everyone has read the rules and is ready to venture off in the world. Just be on the pay attention to your teammate and you will succeed

Now I’m pleased to let you that there will be of the 12 legs on the race. 3 of them will be non-elimination ones, 6 of them will be elimination ones. The final one will be a double leg for the final 3 teams and sometime during the ½ waypoint of the race there will be a double leg with a special twist involved.

Keep on the lookout for the following as these will be requried in order for you to succeed as well as the 2 tools on the end where you can possibly change the course of the game.

Keep in mind that you must contact me by private message to get the roadblock and the two tools (fast forward and yield). You should also make sure you have everything you need before checking into the pit stop. Keep in mind the penalties will be enforced and remember to post your findings to me at the pit stop to prevent another team from using them. The only exception is a roadblock where one person must answer when contacting me. Also one last thing each leg will be broken down in several parts (posts). This will be in effect for each leg of the race. As during the real show, the majority of legs have all teams “catch up” while waiting for a bus, airport ticket counter, attraction to open up etc.

Once at Heathrow Airport, take a taxi to the dungeons.

In Americ: Teams must provide an American sentence and translate it into the British language.

In Brit: Teams must provide a British sentence and translate it into the American language.

Note: In either task you must have at least 3 British Words and duplicate and/or contrary sentences will not be accepted by any team.

Once completed take a taxi to the eye. It is here where you will find the next clue.

kraft_d and everyone who plays you and your partner work together to solve the puzzles/challenges and you post them when you "check in" at the pitstop. However as you can see you have to wait as I haven't said when the pitstop is. So...when I announce when to "check in" then you post all of your findings.
