Fantastic job on those embassies, Twiggy! The landscaping around them was pretty nice, I think. But seriously, good job using all of those parks to spruce up the areas. Great random shot, too. Sometimes it's the randomness that counts.

I still remember the night we were sitting there on MSN

trying to pick out names for our French themed cities to showcase lol.

Although I only see one picture I recognize from the sneak preview,

which would make sense because you only showed me one picture lol.

Btw I like the ploppable cemetery ; ] now where ever did you

get that idea from my dear Twigs? lol I still have yet to use those

I just found this city journal and like this region very much... very eclectic. It reminds me of a cross between Seattle, Vancouver, Buenos Aires, Oslo, Barcelona and Lyon.

Also, after seeing you start with Aurora and Monett, I was expecting a Cassville and a Mount Vernon too.

I suppose TdlO is far enough down for me to revive it, so here I go !

From way back on June the 1st, there certainly seems to be a lot of activity in Tierra in that first picture!  What's going on on that street...is it perhaps that limo that's passing by?  A famous person stopping by?  I wonder...I like the "barrio" feel of the buildings along there, heh heh.  Oh...nice cop-out on that airport , but I'm paying more attention to the building in the middle of the canals.  Seems like it would be an awesome place to work!

A question: where'd you get that parking garage in the third picture?  I need more garages like that for my cities.  The next picture, love the small town feel of it!  Reminds me of home...though I bet people might find a lot of tennis balls in that lake !  That's a great waterfront on the lake there; I've wanted to try that for a while now, except in a more urban setting with restaurants and such.  I've passed a few of those in Houston, and they look really...ahh, chic.  I'll have to keep this in mind whenever I start working on CB again ...

Ripley's a really nice city.  I really enjoyed all the mid-rise towers you've placed, and the little nuances (urban b-ball court across the parking lot...nice!).  By the way, the farm props I was talking about are part of the [Rural Renewal Project at SC4D]...perhaps you've checked it out by now?  It's pretty amazing!

The embassies look amazing !  You really put a lot of effort into all of them, it shows.  I think my favorite one out of all of them is "The Kingdom of New Burgundy"...the plaza's around that one are grand, and I can picture just how many parades and marches you can have in that area!  I really like the parks around mine, as well (heh heh, thanks for the statue...something to help stroke my ego ).  I do have a request, though: would it be possible to change the building?  After the STEX came back online, I did a bit of searching and came across a building that made me immediately think of the embassies in this update...it's [this old Tonkso building].  It's 5x3 (as opposed to the 5x4 of the Courthouse) and transit-enabled for a road to go through the lot.  If that's possible, it'd be very much appreciated; if not, that's fine as well, because the courthouse looks great there, too.  But thanks either way !

On to this page...Heh heh...that delightfully random picture is delightful .  I, as a huge fan of IT, delight in seeing his buildings used so much (that is an IT building in the corner there, isn't it?).  Latest update...Are thos eall French Connection parks you're using?  The ones with the diagonal planters, I mean.  I think I have those, but have never really explored them.  Perhaps that should change, you showcase them very well .  The avenue in Lille is great...but what's this?  Left-hand drive on this avenue?  I'd crash and burn there , LOL!   And I've said it many times, and I'll say it once more: you integrate those parks in there flawlessly!  They really add so much to the area, and it's almost become a signature feature of yours (to me, at least).

Anyways...I wish I hadn't taken so long to reply to this, else I wouldn't've posted a long comment...heh heh, sorry!  But still, a great job all around!  I'll be waiting to see what else you showcase, because in Tierra, you just never know ....

Oh please bare with me. I have never forgot about you. I'm currently working on the Theatre District in Hypertrophy. Plus, I will post some districts that corresponds to the Simtropolis Community, including your's "Santa Maria" will also be a new district of Hypertrophy and I will post an embassy there on top of it. Been working on the Santa Maria District in Hypertrophy for a week now. I'll tell you what, it's got a beautiful beach. Oops! Now I just created a spoiler . But an embassy will be posted very soon, and Santa Maria District in Hypertrophy will be posted as well.
