Csgcseri Thanks. And, the Terra Incognita will have some surprises in it, when it's released!

Leech10 Thanks. Actually, the church and gardens are from an upcoming Atkinos update. Sorta a thinly veiled teaser!

Jacqulina Region pic will be up soon!!!

Abcvs I try to convince people to tremble in my presence, but they seem to giggle instead... I guess it's the red clown nose and Krusty the Klown outfit...

DioAngel Thanks! Just wait till I start posting stats! That'll be a job!

El Burro  Spasibo, comerade! #54... sounds like a Borg name. Of course, the Borg are the ultimate communists! As for nuclear carts... our science staff is hard at work on them! Thanks for the idea! 37.gif

    Hey, Schulmanator.

I must say that your CJ is a pleasure to read and a joy to follow.  You are doing an outstanding job of courting people to follow this outstanding journal.  Not only are your updates interesting, your story-line and "extras" make this CJ one of the best I've had the pleasure to read.

Thank you for all of the time and effort you are putting into your CJ and thank you for the dedication you obviously have for SC4.

Both show through wonderfully in this excellent CJ.

By the way, I, too, am quite interested in the new regions and territories that your explorers will be uncovering.  Anticipation for this runs quite high!

    Best Regards,

    Vandy

I love your CJ, and I have for quite some time, though I'm not sure if I ever commented. It's very creative and looks fantastic! Keep up the good work. 4.gif

The long awaited REGION PIX are here at last!!

[Crowd utters collective sigh of relief!]

I have 2 versions... the au naturel version and the labeled version.

If you want to see the evolution of region pictures, click on the thumbnail below:

And now, on to the rrreallly big show!

    REGION MAP 006
Districts of Schulmanicus, Atkinos, & Devonshire
    region006schatkdevvd1.jpg
Schulmanicus is the top left, Atkinos bottom left, and Devonshire is the right tile. For those who may be a bit…. Shall we say, curious… Terra Incognita is the tile below Devonshire. It is not on the map because it is unknown!

    Hello, Schulmantor.

I must say you've certainly not dissapointed anyone with your new Region pictures.  They are very well done and present a wonderful overview of the entire region.

I do like your providing links back into the history of the Region's evolution.  It is quite delightful to peruse this historical information.

I wasn't sure I was going to like the way you were developing your Region one "discovered" section at a time but I've since become a big fan of this type of development.  I can see the advantages of being able to modify the development of the landscape to better fit in with the developing story.  I must say you use this style quite effectively!

Thank you for the great views of Schulmanicus, Atkinos and Devonshire.  They are well done and do much credit to your CJ.

Great work, Schulmantor.  I look forward to more great updates!

    Regards,

    Vandy

Bat Thanks! Glad to see you flew back in to Schulmania! Glad you enjoyed the paper. It's the sneak preview to Atkinos Reloaded!

Vandy Gary! Glad you stopped in! I am glad you like it. Since you are a resident in Georgetown, you can now use the handy map to explore the rest of Schulmania! :-D

mencc1701 Welcome to Schulmania! I am always glad to have a new guest... especially one who is happy with what they see! Feel free to stop in anytime! (PS: Does the 1701 mean you are a Trek fan?)

    gift3ma7.jpg

Please accept this welcome gift for being a new visitor to Schulmania with our warmest regards!

sc4portugal That'll help with the inevitable... "Road Trip: Schulmania"!

csgcseri Thanks! I try to have a different style for each tile. Schulmanicus is as old as I can get... Atkinos is more Mediterranean... and Devonshire is English/Dutch. Not sure what the next one will be!

Jesusnavidad Thank you! Always good to have a new, satisfied customer. Come back to Schulmania anytime!

Please accept this welcome gift for being a new visitor to Schulmania with our warmest regards!

mencc1701 Thanks! I didn't realize I had so many settlements until I had to label them all!

mike_oxlong Thank you! I am glad you came by and enjoyed what you saw. Please feel free to stop in anytime!

Please accept this welcome gift for being a new visitor to Schulmania with our warmest regards!

penguin007 Thanks! I was thinking about putting a big flashing "?" over Terra Incognita, but decided against it!

Jrhnemo I know - I have been a bit derelict with that, haven't I? [sheepish grin]

Cowcorn Thanks! Always glad to have a longtime Schulmania visitor stop in. I've been simming (is that a proper verb for playing SC4??) a lot this summer so I have fodder for a whole lot more too!

Benedict Thanks! That's EXACTLY the effect I am going for. That's why my towns are so compact... to preserve the illusion of distance. At full scale, it would be a town and not a nation. So, teeny towns for now. But, the capital is gonna be a SHOW STOPPER when it's done. Ooops, did I give something away?

AceofSpades Thanks! Glad to see you back. And I am pleased that you enjoyed the map. It's always good to place these sits in context.

Vandy Thanks! It is a bit risky to leave so much of the map blank. Makes it seem a bit boring at first glance. But, it allows for the reader to explore along with the Schulminions. I have some other areas ready to explore, but my update cycle is behind my SC4 play. I am so delighted you were able to drop in on Schulmania. You are welcome here anytime!!

Jacqulina Thanks! I am glad you liked it!

Voulpiotis Hehehe! I had that one done a while, but wanted to introduce the cities in Lake George first so every spot on the maps would have a corresponding update. But, I will have to do better about more frequent region map updates!

archesrule29 That's exactly the plan! Although you have seen just a bit of Terra Incognita, which is not on the map just yet. More surprises coming when that tile gets another update.

Leech10 Thanks! More is on the way! Only 2 spots left in the general Lake George area to explore. And of course a check back on the homeland areas. And lots of new stuff to come. And I mean *L*O*T*S*!*

Liar!!! That's not a full map: there's weird, flat squares of land! Looking good, that one place that I'm too lethargic to scroll back up to look up really looks like my homeland: Italia. Multa bene labore! (Lots of good work) TopCliff
