Weather you love it or hate it, McDonald's is practically everywhere. But not all McDonald's restaurants are the same. So post a picture of the one nearest you (if you can)...

Here's the one nearest to me:

McDonalds and ASDA
It's the only McDonald's in my town (Omagh) and is located on the Dromore Road, about 1km from where I live. It (and the ASDA-Wal*Mart supermarket, behind), operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Here's some more Irish ones...

Well unfortunately I can't find any pictures of the McDonald's in my town (Canton), but have no fear, I have 3 in my somewhat-small town.39.gif

There are 2 Mc's close to me.

This one is only a few years old:

The other one is in the city center, but I can't find any recent pictures of that one

my city has like 6 that i can think of off the top of my head, i think more. its actually sort of scary when you think about it, but its nothing compared to how many starbucks we have...

they are all pretty dull and average. the owners have changed the inside to be sort of upscale which pretty much means adding orangey brown wallpaper and stainless steel fixtures. and they follow the trend of fast food restaraunts phasing out playgrounds which to me is odd because they have been under so much critisism for making kids fat...i guess its a safety/liability thing...

The only ones that are different are some ones that are merged with other stores. One is connected to a blockbuster video , and the other is in a large gas station. And of course Walmart has a mcdonalds inside the store....

Actually, the old one has a bunch of really tacky and silly looking plastic owl decoys stuck to the top of the turbo vents so they spin around. This is supposed to scare away the Grackles i guess but it doesnt work, they still roost in the trees by the dumpster and poop all over everything.

I think the days of over the top sugary cereals that come with mario or zelda stickers are over.  When's the last time that you've seen cereal with prizes?  Now fast food places are loosing their playscapes.  Next, they'll eventually loose their sucky toys...

When we're all dirt old, we'll be able to tell our great grand kids about when we were their age, and then they probably won't pay attention...

::sigh::

In my city there are about 15-20 Mc'Donalds (Moscow, Russia), the first of them is on the Pushkin Square - this is the largest in Europe. But as a rule, another food points is not a special individual buildings.

Just another typical, generic McDonalds here in Newcastle, Washington. Though, it happens to actually be an integral part of our central business district, that shows how typically suburban the City of Newcastle really is...

Only picture I could find was from my Business Studies Project.

There are 3 McDonalds in Great Yarmouth, unfortunutly, 1 in Gapton Hall Retail Park, 1 in Caister Village Centre and 1 in the Bus Station.

This is the one in Gapton Hall, they did it out really nice inside, doesnt make the food any better.

I've seen plenty. A book I checked out once had a McDonald's out of a Victorian mansion...in my city they have one in an Exxon, one just north of the university, one next to a railroad track that was remodeled (the restaurant, not the railroad), the one in the mall (now its a Sonic), the one in the Wal-Mart Supercenter, the other Wal-Mart (also closed), one in a Shell. I've also seen one where the "McDonald's" was in italics (Spring, TX, near Splashtown). Really nice inside, there's this clear window with this water running down, there was also one in Hearne where there's the red roof, except it has wooden shingles. This one is especially interesting because a truck drove into it once.

~ COMING SOON! Exciting new projects! ~

Interesting... I go to that one every Friday. 3.gif I guess all the years I've been here, I've never noticed "McDonald's" being in italics. :S

Well, we have about 75 here in the San Antonio area... around 90 if you count the metropolitan area.

As far as the "closest one"... I live out in the country... and the closest one I actually never goto.

The one I GOTO...
