Red Suspension bridge

HURRAY!!! I got my copy of deluxe edition (after previously ruining my RH disk )

But when I make the Long suspension bridge (not the Brooklyn one, nor the golden gate), the cable wires are red! I've noticed this happened on some people's CJ's...but when I had Rush Hour the suspension bridge worked fine! Is this an isolated Deluxe Edition bug?

I'm tryna figure out which bridge you're talking about, BubbaGump. As far as I can recall, the only suspension bridges I've seen are the Golden Gate and Brooklyn Bridge types. Do you have a screenshot? The red cables sound really weird. I ASSume you're talking about an in-game Maxis bridge. I've downloaded some bridges from the STEX, but none of those fits what you're referring to, as far as I can tell.) Oh, and congratulations on finally getting another copy of RH/Deluxe!

The longest default bridge does have some red wires. It takes a really long expanse for it to show up. If you like I would upload an image.

Ahh you mean the blue suspension bridge, I have rush hour and I have had this problem with the wires for as long as I can remember... no idea if it can be solved or not.

its on the blue suspension bridge, the really long one.

its weird, it used to happen but when i reinstalled the game it didnt happen anymore. i think it must be a mod doing it. NAM configured a certain way perhaps? what do you have in your plugins folder?

It has happened to me since i had downloaded nam or the patch for deluxe i dunno which coz i downloaded them at the same day oh and also the bridge hight mod

This is the only bridge that I have with red cables, and I use NAM.

I had a look at this and traced it to an error in the Bridge Height Mod. I have attached a corrected version to this message.  Just replace the original version of the mod in your Plugins folder with this version.

The bridge fix doesn't work...sorry. Still red suspension poles.

I double checked the problem and found that there were two bad textures.   The patch I posted previously only fixed the color of the main suspension cables, but not the color of most of the length of the vertical suspension cables.   Attached is an updated fix.  As before, replace the original version of the mod in your Plugins folder with this version.

SpecialEddie, if you could not see the difference when using my fix (new or old) there must be something else wrong.  Possibly you have multiple versions of the BridgeHieghtLow&Suspen.dat file. I suggest that you try testing with files removed from your Plugins folder.  Hopefully it will not be too hard to find the problem because only a few mods affect bridges.
