Andersalinas - thanks for sharing your metro map. Is it going to expand with your city?

Porter - that is an excellent map (even with the quarantine layers 2.gif. I remember admiring it in your CJ.

Emilin - wow, those are really amazing maps - very detailed and professional in quality.

Dedgren - nice stuff, your maps are always done very well - must take you ages!

TheSixCents - interesting use of the Montreal Metro map adapted for your own purposes.

Here an update from my previous metro system map. Lines 1/2/3/4 are metro lines while A/B/C are RER lines. Very curious about your comments!!

Benedict- that's an excellent looking map- extremely clean and easy to read.

* * *

The 3RR Road Atlas pages are starting to go up.

I've had to squash the above a bit from full size (896x1280) to fit ST's pic limitations, otherwise that's how the atlas maps will look.  You'll be able to see all 64 of the township maps shortly here [linkie].  I plan to post a few each day for a while until they're all done.

Here is a transit map I made for my Philadelphia re-creation titled "Philadelphia, The emerging Powerhouse of the 21st Century.  The thread has since been removed due to the two year limit, however I am still working on that region.  That is probably for the best since I am playing the region the way the Prima guide says you should play.... Build out not up, so there is not much to see.

simcutyresizeld2.jpg

Let me know what you guys think of this map, since it took me a real long time to make it.  Plus, becuase of the 800x600 size restriction you may not be able to read the stations and the key,  if you want to, send me a private message and I will send you a copy of the full size version.

Note:  This is a fantasy map.... It is based on the 1912 Transit Commision Master Plan coordinated by Merrit Taylor,  The city's Transit commissioner.  Although the Market Frankford Line(Blue) and The Broad Street Line (Orange)  and the Patco Line (Red) are represented  the rest of the map is fantasy.... Also the Subway-Surface Lines(Trolley Routes) are omitted.  It is actually sad that Philadelphia did not finish this plan, it would have been really great for the city.... But a combination of republican run party machines, outstanding debt on the $40+million bonds for City Hall,  the depression (Since Philly was a republican city, Roosevelt saw to it that she got no new deal money) and World War ll made sure it was never completed.  In the 50s the city tried to build some of the routes, but there was just no will or money for such a project in the inflationary times of the 50s   instead money went to raod projects.

I love Crazy Finger's map. I wish that Philly actually had a transit system like that. Then the traffic would be so darn bad. XD

My Very First Post!

A map of Sae Domino's Metro System. This city is a mess so dont get too hopeful of a CJ I wouldn't even know where to start. The cause for the mess is that I never intended Sae Domino to become the "Capital City" in this region, that role was set aside for the near by Fortune, but voila! I never even wanted a metro line but seemed to be the best way to get people across my sunken Highway to the industrial parks "The Commuter Loop." If you have any suggestions on improvement, they are welcomed!

These would be Sub and El. The green line is subway and elevated at the end and and the blue line and subway elevated in the southern quarter after Bywood Station.

Also I love your Philadelphia map, If only Philly wasnt so broke they could build another subway line . Or extend the ones they have now. Your map is like what every commuter in the Metro area would dream of. Think about how traffic would clear it. It would be postal!

Dedgren: Wow, your atlas is beyond inspirational! I can't believe how much time you must have spent to get those township maps done.

CrazyFinger: Great map!

CTRSind: Thanks for making your first post in the map section - looks good!

Shingure: Good to see you back. I think it might have looked a bit better if all the names were horizontal - you have enough space with that layout.

And here is the latest version of the Port Sinclair Monorial... extension to Derna opened on time, and now the planned extension to Wexlin.

Nice map, khoianh94! I really like the different S numbers for the different routes.

Sometimes I like to 'play' with maps others post. Way back when I redesigned the Khoreyopolis map (page 8 of this thread), and later I redesigned the Circle Line Map.

Let's go on with the planned small subway system of Marktingen-Neuhaus, with a population of about 75.000:

neuhaus-subway.gif

Between Rathaus (town hall) and Knallgasallee there is a river, but I haven't put it into the map.
