I tried the BLS BSC farms, but for some reason they dont grow in my cities, so i am downloading

if anyone can point me in the direction of these packs, as they are unavailable on ST (locked or missing), it would be much appreciated.

Hello Yeah_Right,

The dependancies you are looking for have been collected -

either in the BSC essentials or in some MegaPack.

For SG (SimGoober) look for SimGoober's Mega Packs,

for MJB look for MJB Mega Packs.

The "readme" files with the essentials and mega packs will tell you

what dependancies have been included in them.

For the latest releases - you may need to check out the SC4Devotion site;

please note SC4Devotion requires seperate registration for their forums and their exchange,

I believe you can register for either or for both - depending on what you want access to.

just a suggestion to simgoober, i think u should update the dependencies list for the farming lots, as most of them are in mega packs now, which saves us hunting down the various files. I love the farms btw

I am probably going to get flamed for asking this, but here goes:

I'm having a problem with dependencies.  I reinstalled the game on a new machine, and went about downloading all my favorite STEX stuff.  The problem arises because most of the readmes refer to dependency files that are now obsolete or simply gone, and I have not been able to find good documentation for which individual dependencies were merged into what mega packs.  Most of the things I need I have tracked down, but I'm still having a lingering issue with two lots in the BSC BLS farms plugin - Gascooker's Gaff and BSC Breton.  I have tried and tried to find the dependency files that now contain the props for these lots, to no avail.  I know that BSC Breton was once in the file BSC BAT Props MJB Vol03.dat, which no longer exists on the STEX.  I thought it would have been integrated into the BSC mega prop pack, but maybe it was overlooked.

At any rate, I've been driving myself mad over this for at least two weeks, downloading prop pack after prop pack.  If anyone can point me toward the files that contain building props for these lots, I would be eternally thankful.

All BSC packs are on the LEX at SC4Devotion. The farms have all been updated and are also there.

Hi, I just downloaded the mega pack that's in the first page in the popular section, whatever it was. I installed it into my plugins folder and tested SimCity 4 for any changes in buildings and stuff, but I didn't find any. Am I missing something?

You will only see any changes if any of the lots you have in your city use the props from the pack. These are not lots that grow or can be plopped but setsof props used by creators to enhance their lots.

I guess I posted this question in a wrong section some days ago. Chances are that someone here will know the answer.

I dl'd Ill Tonkso's Victorian City Park ( https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=13078 ), and it lists "BSC Mega Pack" as a dependency - but which Mega Pack is this? The pathways don't show up (have the blue background thing), and I guess the appropriate texture is in whichever pack he refers to. I have the other pack listed.

And a bonus question: Is there a list of outdated dependencies somewhere (ones that have later been included in a Mega Pack, for example)? I suspect I might have to clear out some old ones. Or can I safely empty my props/textures folders, and just install Mega Packs from one end to another?
