First BAT

I created my first working BAT today. It's a huge device that will eliminate all the sims from your city within seconds of plopping it. During testing it took less than 1 minute to eliminate over 22,000 sims from a city but left all infrastructure intact. I'm now working on a smaller device that will destroy everything. I call it "The Gadget". That's all I can say about it, be forewarned.

That's what it looks like when you plop it. A wave of abandonment passes through your city. Some cars still drive around for awhile but eventually the city becomes completely abandoned.

I've been working on "The Gadget" all day. Model #5 worked after I caught it on fire. After much tweaking, I got it to explode on it's own. Unfortunately, it was too small and made a small poof. Model #6 was too big and wouldn't render properly. Model #7 rendered well, I placed it and BAM! it worked. All that's left is tweaking the model so that it looks absolutely right. It now shows up partly underground and doesn't have the wires that I want it to have. As soon as it's the way I want it I will put it on the STEX.

Revjbro: if you want to get some tips or suggestions, you will have to show us a picture. If you don't know how, make a Preview at the Gmax, press the Prt Scr Sys Rq on your keyboard, paste it on MS Pain or in your favorite graphic program. And resize it, less than 800x600 required. And save it. Host your picture on Imageshack.us

And copy the last link you get.

I'm working on trying to get the images working. The first is a picture of "The Gadget" Prototype #7. The second is "The Gadget" doing it's job. I have alot of work left on the model but I know that it works.

I haven't seen any of your models but from your description this one works alot like yours. There's at least one other person who has created a similar device.
