Refresh and relogs

I use IE7 (or any other "modern" browser that does "multi-window browsing") and so to get the new "latest replies" to update I find the easiest thing to do it hit F5 or click "refresh". When I do this sometimes it works fine, but in other cases it requires me to "re-transmit a logon". Does anyone have any hints on how to minimize this situation? It's not a big deal, but I'm curious.

I have cookies enabled for the browser.. that isn't the problem.. Although I don't have "remember my password" enabled. Nor do I intend to.. 4.gif If anyone wants to know my passwords, they will need to do more than just browse my "last used" websites or take a de-encryption algorithm to my passwords file.. 4.gif

For websites like Simtropolis, you should just have it remember your password. I wouldn't have it for your banks website or anything, but even if someone had your password for Simtropolis, they wouldn't be able to do anything useful with it. At the very worst, someone would spam the forums with your username, and it would get banned. Then you'd e-mail Dirk explaining the situation, and he'd probably change the password of your account and unban you.

But unfortunatly I don't have any advice for your actual problem.
