Feepa : here are the pictures you requested. Like I said the areas need alot of work. And the Whitemud Freeway needs to be edited once or twice.

    Great job TJD!

Just one question: How do you plan to zone? I know that you have the zoning map, but the game engine might interfere.

Ewok : Thats a good question. i'm going to start in mixed low wealth areas and let them  interact. After a fee strong zones like this highclass ones should be more stable and esaier to let the city grow.11.gif

Dudy : I didn't use any network add on mods. I am trying to learn more about them before trying them. There are a few areas they could help in. Guess I'll have to keep asking and see what there all about first.11.gif

I just tried the NAM shortly. Played around with it for an hour. And it doesnt offer much of what I need that I dont already have or have already changed. And NAM is a large comlicated Mod that alters alot. So after this hr of playing with it I'm choosing not to use it. I have done probably half of the confusing areas in Edmonton and with NAM there would honestly be little change in the was I do things unless the modd is extended alot in the future. Dont get me wrong its a great mod. But what it offers doesnt really apply to anything in Edmonton.

    Oct 5th Update
Some main roads in SW Edmonton are taking shape. In the next few days this region of Edmonton should expand alot more. Ive laid the ground work for easy measuring of the curved roads. Again any request just ask.

Once again, I'm stunned by the accuracy and the amazing amount of effort that has gone into this recreation of Edmonton... it's simply indescribable.

    Edmontons 100th Birthday
    October 8th 2004

Edmonton is turning 100 this weekend. With many things going on around the city aswell as everything civic being free.
Edmonton as most anywhere has a rich history for 100 years. Once a Fort for fur trading, to an agricultural center, to the Oil boom. Edmonton is known as the City of Champions due to many championships in many sports. Most notable our 5 Stanley Cups over a 7 year period.

I'm impatient... It's a good thing other projects like Myst Valley keep you sane. Otherwise this will overtop your head!

    Edmonton Update - Oct 16
Telus Feild - Home of the Edmonton Trappers up until this year. The PCL moved the last Canadian team due to travel and a few other small probs. This last year the Trappers were the Expos farm team often selling more tickets then the parent team....Telus feild is only 10yrs old or so and was often seen with good crowds threw out the summer. Its located in the river valley just south of Downtown,
This view is facing south. Anyone who lives in Edmonton will know the SC Ballpark is almost an exact look of Telus Feild.

A small follow up, update. Across from Telus feild is a grass/dirt parking area. I wanted the real look for it. So here's what I made on LE. I also made a normal parking lot lot for many other uses.
