Cool. Thanks for the reply Equinox and Trolca. I found the programs and will give it a shot. If I get anything worth sharing I will post some pics and see what everyone thinks. I have a feeling I will really appreciate the work you put into these mods a whole lot more with that explanation. Thanks again.

I have to remark on this. Why did you put Homestar Runner on the 7trumpets boxcar?

P.S. A friend told me about the site. The site name is www.homestarrunner.com.10.gif

I believe his avatar was based off HomeStarRunner, and he had links to it in his signature.

If you read any of the postings by 7trumpets, you'll notice that he has the runner for his avitar. I didn't know where the runner came from.

Thanks, I'll have to ask him why he likes him. For those who want to know, the best word to describe Homestar is dumb.

    Here's something real.

    /idealbb/files/BXDADS01.jpg

I'll offer the download when I have at least five cars completed. Other product names I might use include Coca Cola, Coleman, Boeing, and Kraft.

I'd love to see a Boeing set, maybe with some randomizing props of airplane pieces for a flat car. I couldn't find any good pictures of the enclosed cars they use, though. These are called Sky-Boxes, at least according to one site.

Like I said, no good pictures. Also, here's an ok side shot of the Sounder Commuter train, which runs between Tacoma and Everett, Wa, if you ever have any spare time, or if enough people request that. Now that I look at it, all you'd have to do for the cars would be changing the colors of a set dc_dragon requested on the last page if you ever make it.

I'll put Sounder on my list. I was just planning on making a Boeing box car but I'll see what I can find on sky-boxes. If I don't find anything useful I might just go with a box car though.

Here's another car for the set. Again I'll post the set when it's complete.

Here's some screen shots of the two cars.

No, they're engines of the Chamberlain & Bowdoin Railroad.

No comments on the Dads Root Beer and Coca Cola cars?

You should make a Pepsi car for all us who dislike Coca-cola.

Ah my bad. Saw an old timey looking guy, and with the Coke and Dad's cars, I thought you went ahead and made a HW engine.

Looking good on all fronts though.

The Sounder Commuter train (mentioned on the last reply of the previous page) looks really neat; you don't see diesel passenger trains in the classic freight train appearance too much.

And these brand-name cars look awesome!
Could you possibly release these like Zwanneman releases his civic vehicles: one car per DAT?
That way people could pick and choose ... <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/1.gif>

Here's the three soft drink cars, Dads Root Beer, Coke and Pepsi. Each car is in a seperate DAT.

From now on I'll package the name brand cars individually. I'll set package the road names (CP Rail, River Haven) in sets.

    I'd like some
    feedback
    on this.

Which tanker car do you like the best. Egnore the color scheme and focus on the model.
