I definitely second what Schulmanator said. This CJ inspired the nature project that I've been working on...Jacky knows about it, because she's been helping me a lot.

And I agree with fledder200 too. I think you plug the computer into your brain matrix style and just think about what you want and it appears. I love it

quick reply for now for sgt.simpson i have hand terraformed this region my friend there are pics further back,i think most people regard it as a sort of tutorial allready,and some inspiration i hope.it does take me a long time to terraform.i will do replys soon my friends.

I love your shallow water and the plants and rocks you can see. You have to do a tutorial on making great sloping shores!! You make everything look so realistic and beautiful!

Absolutely amazing work, as always!  That area you created for the campsite is just beautiful.  And the fire boat fits perfectly.  The shore line is magnificent, you can tell it has been touched by your hand.

Jacky, I have the coming weekend off from guiding tours at the castle, so I'm going to rent a rowboat, and explore that "cove within a cove".  It shows quite well in the pic before the fire station is in place, and the second to last pic.  However the end of it is not quite in view--a secret cove--how simply beguiling!  I wonder if The Handsome Prince knows about this secret cove?  He is quite a comely fellow, in a Sean Connery sort of way.  He popped in during one of my tours today and I was so nervous I called it "Callsworth Fastle".  I could have died on the spot...

Thanks again Jacky for sending me a bigger pic of your lighthouse. I am currently using it on my desktop as a wallpaper. I get compliments on it from friends that visit. I usually end up getting them interested in Simtropolis.com Funy isn't it.

FOOTBALL_FEVER  thankyou so much my friend,how is your project coming on you are taking your time which is great you should get excellent results,sometimes i will be stuck what to do next so i have started to terraform another tile i will show that soon though,

GRNEYES78  marybeth my friend,i start a tile with the god mode tools to get a general outline to what i am after,then i start the city and use the mayor mode tools which are a lot gentler than the god mode tools,to shape the shore line which takes a long time with the mayor tools but i get a good result,i use the flat tool mainly,i start from the water a little out so i can work my way in to the shore and i keep doing that till i have the depth from deepish to shallow and when i am happy with it i start to place the rocks and flora not to much mind otherwise you can over do it.if you need to know anymore pm me anytime.

great update. The forests are so lush and green. haha. Those waterfalls are good too. At first I thought they were gysers or something but then I looked closer. Nice farms too. hehe, the little cows mooing and the horses trotting. Very nice.

It's interesting to hear how you terraform. I've found that I do it the exact same way...overall with god mode tools, then use the mayor mode ones because they are more gentle, and almost always the flattening tool. I know there is a way to adjust the size and strength of the god mode tools, I think shift + 1-0, but it doesn't seem to work as well. Wonderful landscape...it looks very peaceful
