Quite the contraption you have here, I'm having trouble determining its scale, however.. is it really as enormous as it appears?

Looks good, but the pictures are still too big in filesize.

If you use the GIMP on all of them, don't save it at highest quality, save it at something like 75-85% quality, it barely makes a difference in the look of the picture, but they should load a lot quicker.

The last picture is of a more decent filesize, though.

Please post the update only when it is finished, I don't like the "Update under construction" posts. Makes me wait more then I need to.

Looks good, can't wait for more!

Pictures 1-3 have dencent file sizes, the rest don't.

    Hasiq-2-1.jpg
The al'Hasiq's base on al'Majid Qida (Titania) was built quite quickly with only the members who had come on the Katejad, which is the ship shown. The Katejad has the only long range communications in the entire base at this time, and when it is off base, the base can only communicate with whoever happens to be very close by, usually close enough to see the base. (around 5-8 miles depending on the current electromagnetic activity) The base's communication system was only designed for communication between buildings and sections of the base. Before development begins on al'Majid Kasid (Oberon), a longer range communication system must be built. The base is located in the center of a crater, to provide some natural protection from outsiders if they remain low on the horizon.
    Hasiq-2-2.jpg
The white building on the right is the main command post, housing the most powerful transmitter on the base other than the Katejad's, and is often used to communicate with the Katejad when it is preparing to land after an exploration run. On the left is the main storage area of solid goods, such as food, metal, and other required items. This is stored in underground chambers in the crater walls.
    Hasiq-2-3.jpg
Housing block A, where most of the inhabitants live at for now.

    Hasiq-2-4.jpg
Housing block B, currently mostly empty.
    Hasiq-2-5.jpg
This is the other main storage area, where stuff like water, air, and other liquids and gasses are stored, as well as a temporary power station.
    Hasiq-2-6.JPG
The beginnings of the farming area, built on the side of the crater.

Next update: An overview of the al'Hasiq's history, and why the came to Uranus.

collgab: Where is the road lot, or a similar lot, at on the STEX? I can't find it. Also, is their anything I need to do now, and if so, what are some suggestions and/or guidelines on doing it.
