Wayyyy too foggy, heck, I can barely see the city 2.gif, but from what I can see, the city looks quite good; maybe post a non-foggy shot? - 4.5/10

BTW, watch the comments, some people may find that offensive...

Clearly neither of you have seen real dense fog at night, thats what you'd see. Lights, large outlines, water that melds into land, roads that look like ice, a very surreal and cold look. But eh, I can't change your mind now can I? 3.gif

Also, the only feelings I had any posibility of hurting were Deever's, and even at that it was playful critisiczm. He does a lot of great work, and I just thought I'd say flat out, that that was not close to a good one, something I'd expect from someone far below his skill level. Either way, your perception, your opinions.

Hrm... there. You can barely notice the difference though, sharpened it up to make it a bit less blurry. Can't give an origonal though, never saved it. 2.gif

True but correct me if i am wrong, was your intention  to showcase your city in a dense fog or were you showcasing the fog? XD

I like it a little better since i can see a little clearly. 8.5/10 Try using vivid light under your brush tool to bring out the lighting.

I'm shelling out $400 for pc upgrades, fancy $100 photo editing programs that take weeks to figure out never interested me. Photofiltre is what I got, little more than a fancy MS Paint with some little color effect things. I just put that to greyscale, messed with the contrast, and droped the brightness about, then sharpened it of course.

Hmmm... I just fixed a problem I had. All the colors were wacked in my games, couldn't figure it out. It was my moniter. Now that its fixed, I realize the editing was really shoddy, I'll try again tommorow, really came out bad. 3.gif

Chew on this old one until then.

$100 for a photoediting program eh ?..well i didn't really feel the pinch of the price (seeing that i don't know the original price) since i got the...umm....how to put this lightly ... the cracked copy which costed me around RM 10 (divide 10 by 3.75 to change into USD$...i think). And it doesn't take weeks to learn since most people learn from experience...which depends on the frequency you use th program.

Anyways this pic gets a 9/10. You lose 0.9 points just for the pause mode yellow outline.

Amerikaner: 8/10. Very nice. However, I'm confused--are you going for the London or Frankfurt feel? 2.gif

dosomthin90210: 8.5/10. Excellent focus on that Rembrandt Theater, though it also gives us a glimpse of your excellent city-building.

Weihnachtsmann: 7/10. Interesting transportation layout.

Excuse the text at the upper left hand side. It's from my CJ. 2.gif

ryan04: Very nice olympic area! Looks realistic. 8.5/10

Deever: Nice photo effects but those walls coming off the wind power plants look a little out of place and so do the roads. 7/10

tomdapom: Looks like a fantastic city under all that rain. A little too much for me though. 7.5/10

shadow_prophet: The same as you're last image. 6.5/10

Elaclairee: Sorry but I think you killed this image with the greyness. Looks like a cool city though. 5/10

Elaclairee: This one's much better! Nice BAT's with some cool effects. 9/10

dosomthin90210: Looks like a great city! I can see about 10 Maxis building though, big ben, 3X3 park, industrial ect. 8.5/10

CarmineHilton: Fantastic photoshoping skills but how do I even know what that is? Is it even Sim City? 3/10

Amerikaner: Great picture! Very realistic 9.5/10

dosomthin90210: Wow, this picture took my breath away! 9.5/10

Weihnachtsmann: Cool rail system. 7/10

Amerikaner: I like the way you lined the avenue with trees. Good architectural style too (the buildings in general, I mean). 8.5/10.

dosomthin90210: Nice BATs! The buildings and the canals are a good match. 9/10.

Weihnachtsmann: I just can't take my eyes off the floral part of the image! Excellent transportation layout too. 8.8/10.

ryan04: Nice set of buildings there. Taking the shot at night wasn't a bad idea. 7.7/10.

SpecialEddie: Gotham skyline. . . Beautiful. I could see some well-planned roads down there too. 9/10.

Weihnachtsmann: Ahh, more of PEG's seasonal woods. Still good. There's some dilapidation in the lower part of the pic though. 8.5/10.

SimsPlanet2: The layout, to an extent, is realistic. Not to much building repetition too. 8.8/10.

I've been experimenting with the GIMP program thing and I came up with this:attemptfinalws1.jpg

. . . All Maxis 2.gif

Weihnachtsmann: 8/10 Like the lake, but a little too Maxis-y.

SimsPlanet2: 8.5/10 I like the style of buildings you chose, but it just doesn't have any grid pattern.

Deever: 6/10 Good use of Maxis, almost looked good. You went overboard in PS, though.

Here's my latest contribution.

Simsplanet2:7/10 nice downtown very good blend of buildings..its kind of missing something though.

Deever:7.5/10 very nice maxis buildings..i like alot of the medium dense R$$buildings they look really real. But the slant on the road seems to be alittle steep.

Topcliff:8/10 i like the airport terminla its really nice looknig but im not feelin the effect.
