Yikes heavy rain. If only the game can do that effect, then people won't have to use photoshop. Nice work, 9/10

Deever - I love Miami Tint...10/10 great industrial area, and it's awesome how it seems washed of all color except orange and yellow.

hotdogs - 10/10 In incredible contrast to Deever's, your picture is so COLORFUL!!!

Thesanderson:8.5/10 its alright..neve knew their was a seoul wtc on the stex.

capitol1: That's a hospital right? It looks good. I like the parking lots too. 8/10.

tomdapom: Big mosaic. Pretty good for your first. 9/10. One thing though, I don't think that mosaic is made up of smaller pictures. It seems to be loading like it was one big picture.

Alek always makes me feel bad when he posts up a mosaic like that 15.gif3.gif lol... 10/10

Where did you get those Diagonal Apartment buildings (the white ones and orangey ones to the top and bottom right hand corner)? They look like Japanese BAT's, but I could be wrong. Not been around for a while, I could have missed them on STEX however...

-edit-

No worries, I found them... SEEK AND THOU SHALT FIND! said the lord...

Deever, you shouldn't rate a picture slightly lower just because it isn't brought through some photo program, PSing SC4 pics is ok, but suggesting someone to do it is just weak.

NOTHING beats PURE UN-EDITED sim city 4 pictures, people, keep it real!

Of course! I didn't say anything about the picture stinking because it wasn't edited. You must have misunderstood. I was referring to myself when I said it would be nice to play around with the contrast settings, not to the one who made it. I just like to play around with MS Picture Manager when I'm bored and right now I am really, really bored.

Whether your picture is edited or not, has custom content in it or not, I try my best to rate the image based on the image alone and with no comparison to other work.

I've got a few things that beat un-edited pic's... lol 16.gif

Thing I don't understand is when did people start putting Mosiacs in here? Its 'Rate One Image'... ONE image... not fifty, rofl.

Anyway, not bad Deever... abit Maxisy for my tastes but still very good 8/10

edit: I replaced the pic with a smaller, non-topdown version.

I want to start a cj about this city of mine, so I'd like to hear your opinion on the color setting I'm planning to use for my images. What do you think?

aretedemo2gr5.jpg

Cjah: I was going to give you a 11/10 until I noticed that the railings of the stairs are actually taller than the cars 9.gif So I'm only gonna give you a 10/10. Where did you get those stairs btw? (and those white fences) 3.gif

Deever: I'm giving you 8/10 for all except the last part of the mosaic. Those retaining walls and unnecessary filler lots just above the water are disastrous 9.gif You just had to clutter up as much as you could there next to the shore, hadn't you? 2.gif

Angelo- Thats very neat, I wouldn't mind living there 5.gif I think the top down view may have spoiled its beauty though. Oh, and you better Re-size to 800x600 before a Moderator notices it... 7/10

Here minez... at last i've finally managed to pull off a half decent shot of my new City wich is going feature heavily in my next CJ-

khabarovsk.jpg

If it doesn't look Socialist enough, i can always make it red and shove in a few pictures of Lenin 18.gif

This city was made before I was a member of Simtropolis. If you played SC4 longer than you were a member of this site, you'd know that often times you'd have to sacrifice aesthetics for profit. So yes, it was a need for me to clutter up the shore. Those HT industries had to be zoned somewhere. Without the industry, a lot of my residential apartments would have dilapidated due to lack of jobs. Oh well. This is Rate One Image after all.

As for your image, the concept is interesting but I'm having a hard time commenting on it. All I can say is that it's not bad and I like rectangular. 8/10.

Don't forget the dimension limit of images, BTW. (800 x 600)

EDIT: Whoa! Another image out of nowhere! Time to rate.

El Burro: That image is screaming socialist / communist, trust me. 8.7/10.
