Here are some links I use sometimes. Equinox asked me to post the names in this thread, but there are literally thousands on some of these sites (for example, one is every town and post office that ever existed in the state of Tennessee), so I'll just put the links. I would suggest putting "place names" into google or another search engine to get more. The last link is a page that links to a bunch of other lists of names (some are only searchable, though.)

i might make a city name database on my website (xconstrictor.com). id just have them grouped by letter. itll take a while. im thinking www.citynames.xconstrictor.com or something. and im going to be using a lot of names from this thread. does anyone have any opinions on this?

i realize that that's what the person who started this thread was planning on doing, but the thing im working on now is moving along fast. ive got like 400 names so far and need more, even though the perosn who started this thread said no more city names...... so i might start a new thread requesting more city names or just get more in this one if people will do it. to see what the main page will look like, go to www.xconstrictor.com/citynames. by the way there will be a credits page listing all the people in this thread whose city names im going to use. if you don't want me to use them for some reason, tell me and i'll delete them. thanks.
