I just downloaded this patch, http://simcity.ea.com/update/index_rtpatch.php?sku=NA&version=1.1.638.0 and look what it has done to my medium park green (the blank green spot) and it has taken away the scenery around the building across the street from it.  Anyone know whats up or how to just uninstall the patch?

and by the way, this only applies to newly plopped parks and buildings or newly developing buildings.  My old parks and buildings before the patch look fine still.

you don't need to uninstall, all simcity.com patches to cut down on patch and driver issues reset your graphics settings in game to low, to fix this go into the graphics settings in game and set them back the way you like

What I've noticed is that when you change the graphics settings upwards, they don't always seem to go back up until you reload the city or even restart the game. So if you set them to high in a city and notice no difference, just reload/restart. That should work.

I appreciate the help, but none of those work. Can anyone tell me how to just uninstall the patch?

Weird that those didn't work... In that case your best bet is to reinstall the game altogether... I don't think there is another way unless you can get a list of files that the patch changed and the original files that may or may not be easily accessible on the install CD. I know it changes Simcity_1.dat, which is a huge file. So, your best bet is to reinstall.

Actually, you go into Graphics Options from the menu with Save and Quit (it's on the far right, but might not be exactly). The City Detail setting should be cranked up to High.
